It had been a week since Diluc left Mondstadt. The winery was still as gloomy as it had been since Master Crepus passed.

(Y/N) hadn't visited Kaeya since then. She knew that she should have visited him the moment Diluc left to make sure that he was okay, but... after everything that had happened... after everything that Diluc told her...

Besides, she had heard that Kaeya had returned to work. There were rumours that he was going to be promoted to Cavalry Captain now that Diluc had left. Perhaps it was better for her not to disturb him...

Even so, still...

(Y/N) felt for the device in her pocket.

Nobody else knew about this Vision except for everyone at home.

Realistically, she really wanted Kaeya to know. But just thinking about talking to Kaeya again made it hard to breathe. Now that Master Crepus and Master Diluc weren't here...

(Y/N) held her head.

She was sitting on the bed in her room at the winery. The room looked a lot more empty now that the mannequins were no longer in there.

(Y/N) heaved a sigh. It was currently her lunch, but she couldn't find it in herself to eat. Gradually, she stood, rubbing her eyes. Adelinde wouldn't be happy if she found out she didn't eat though... nor would her dad if she came home with a grumbling stomach...

After a lot of courage, (Y/N) left the room, stepping downstairs. Her head tilted.

Adelinde was standing beside the table, a tray of food in her hands. She was staring at the set table in silence, her lips pursing.

Adelinde snapped out of it almost immediately after noticing (Y/N)'s presence. She placed the tray down, turning towards her with a sheepish smile. "Have you eaten yet, (Y/N)? I accidentally made food forgetting that no one is living here anymore..."

Adelinde had done this multiple times this week. And, every time, she just looked more and more upset to bring food to an empty table.

Adelinde had been hit hard by everything that had happened. But, because Master Diluc had left the winery to her, she was trying her best to stay strong, for everyone's sake.

A slight smile curved (Y/N)'s lips as if in attempt to comfort her. "No... I haven't eaten yet..."

"Really..?" Adelinde asked in disbelief. A relieved beam rose upon her face, though, it quickly fell when there was a knock on the door.

"Oh, let me get that."

(Y/N) nodded as the head housemaid rushed to the door. They had been having quite a few guests throughout the week from people expressing their condolences, so (Y/N) decided not to pay it any mind. She looked over at the food, humming quietly to herself. It looked and smelled very yummy.

Though, (Y/N) immediately turned her head back when she heard a loud gasp.

Her heart sank, her eyes widening.

"Master Kaeya!" Adelinde exclaimed.

Kaeya chuckled when Adelinde didn't hesitate for a single second to tug him into her arms. Kaeya rubbed her back, snuggling into her with a big smile.

"Are you okay? Let me see your eye. Are you hurt anywhere else? Oh, sit, I'll make you all of your favourite meals!!"

Kaeya couldn't help his giggle, his shoulders shaking. "I'm all good now, Addie. Look," Kaeya pointed at his right eye, "I even got a new eyepatch! It has a snowflake, hehehe."
