I listened boredly as my professor went on about the syllabus, his annoying tone irritating me more with each passing minute. After he repeated the same point for the third time, I placed my head on the desk, desperate for relief. A little while later, I heard shuffling beside me and looked up to see a girl staring at me.

"Can I have my face back?" she asked, her lips curling into a smirk. I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "If I'm not mistaken, you were staring at me," I shot back, my voice low but just loud enough for her to hear.

She laughed, licking her lips slightly. "Nah, I wouldn't call it staring, love. I was just admiring how pretty you look. Had to get a closer look," she said, flashing a bright smile. I fought the urge to roll my eyes again.

As the professor wrote "HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY" in all caps on the whiteboard, my interest piqued. Finally, he hadn't uttered a word about it since I stepped foot in this lecture hall.

"Now, students, I know all of you know the name of the class you're taking, but do you know the true meaning of Human Anatomy and Physiology?" he asked, looking around for someone to answer. It fell quiet; no one seemed ready to speak up. Being the bold person I am, I raised my hand.

5 hours later...

After finally leaving my last class of the day, I settled into my car, ready to head back to the apartment. My stomach growled, so I decided to stop for food for me, Tinka, and Miracle. I pulled into the Chick-fil-A drive-thru, relieved to see the line wasn't too long.

After placing my order and paying, I waited at the second window. "Ari," a lady called out, knocking on my window. "Yes," I replied as she handed me all the bags. "Thank you! Have a great day!"

At home....

I parked in my usual spot and turned off the car, texting Miracle to unlock the door before making my way up the stairs with all the food. Once inside, I set everything down on the dining table and headed to my room to grab clothes for my shower.

"You got this for me?" Tinka's voice broke through, and I turned to see her standing in the doorway, holding the bag meant for her. I chuckled a little, knowing she'd devour it.

"Yes, mama," I replied, smirking. "How was your first day of school?" I asked, taking off my shirt to get ready for the shower.

"It was actually pretty good! All my professors were cool as hell, and the people were okay for the most part—just a little nosy," she said, her tone light as she plopped down on my bed.

I noticed Tinka's gaze was fixed on me, her eyes roaming as I stood there in just my panties. With a mischievous grin, I turned my back to her, slowly sliding them down while bending over to give her a little show.
