"...ke up! Sonic, wake up!" I could hear Silver's urgent voice yelling at me, when I slowly opened my eyes and got pulled out of the restless sleep.
"Hmmm, what?" I sleepily rubbed my eyes, unable to properly open them.
"Von Doom is about to leave the mansion! You said you'll try to help, so get up and go!" Silver insisted and finally properly opening my eyes I looked up at his floating form above me. If I was to see him for the very first time in my life, I would probably get terrified by such sight.
"Yeah, going, going, hold on," I spoke sleepily, as I managed to sit up. I still felt tired and the urge to just lay back down and sleep the rest of the night off with no care, how many people might die tonight, was very tempting. But... that isn't who I am. I have a good heart and do not wish anyone to suffer because of one super-hungry vampire. I think the remaining rogue vampires were a struggle enough for the mortals, they do not need an extra burden.
"You sounded more determined and confident previously," Silver scoffed and 'sitting' on the bed he crossed his arms while watching me all the time.
"Would you shut up! I just woke up right now!" I growled and glared at him over my shoulder before standing up and clumsily putting my shoes on I finally exited the room and tried to locate the vampire.

"He's heading outside right now," Mr. Guide here once again flew through the wall next to me and pointed down towards the main entrance of the mansion.
"Yeah, no way," I rolled my eyes and ran down the stairs, then quickly rushed outside and saw Terios walking fast towards the gate. He wore a black silky shirt, black pants and the same black boots like before.
"Your majesty!" I called out to stop him, but he wouldn't listen! He just opened the gate and headed out of the mansion area. I had no other option but to follow him and hopefully get him to change his objective.
"Your majesty! Please, wait!" I still kept calling out to him in hopes, that he would listen at one point, while trying my best to catch up on him. Which I did and tightly grabbing his wrist I yanked him backwards, then gently slammed him against one of the trees. And I met a terrifying sight, where his scleras were fully crimson and his black irises with white slit pupils dimly emitted a dark aura contrasting against the crimson. He bared his sharp fangs at me and released a deep growl from the depth of his throat.
"Y-Your majesty, p-please, listen! This isn't you, y-you need to snap out of it!" I spoke to him firmly while now holding both his wrists and pinning him to the tree. I might seem puny, but I possessed a decent amount of physical strength and was able to keep him in spot, despite how hard he struggled in my grip.
"Let. Go!" he snarled at me and I could tell he was getting angry.
"I won't let go of you, unless you follow my lead and return to the mansion!" I said as firmly and seriously as I could muster at the moment. At least he was still able to communicate, even in such condition.
"I need to feed!" he opposed me and kept struggling.
"Do not make me do something worse, your majesty! I-" I paused myself, as I got one super crazy idea, how I could very likely convince him to go back to the mansion and not hurt any innocent (or even crime-guilty) mortal out there. I mean, if he hunts down criminals, it would do good for sure, but he could still get himself into trouble, especially if he's not careful enough. And in such condition I don't think, that he would mind any manners, as long as he gets fed by the blood. This is what Silver meant earlier by Terios seeing scarlet. He indeed barely listened.
"Grrrah! Let me go!" Terios yelled at me and unsheathed the tail stinger while attacking me with it and good, that I had such fast reflexes, as I quickly jumped out of the way, making him miss his target.
"Woah, woah, hey! Hold on a second, your majesty! I got something better for you, than some random living blood bank!" I held my arms out and refused to simply let him slip through and get to the civilization.

"What is it?!" he hissed at me in response and held the stinger out towards me. I nervously gulped. One wrong move and this sharp thing ends up deep in my chest, I was sure of that. I took a deep breath and shortly contemplated, whether I should do this or not. But honestly, what more was I going to lose? Maybe just my best buddy, who is now sleeping in his den, I believed. It would be probably hard for Terios to explain to him, how come I am gone - if I am to live the very last minutes of my life, that is. There was still a small chance, that I could survive even the blood lusting vampire's rampage. I subtly nodded to myself and looked deep into those monstrous eyes.
"M-My blood, your majesty. I-I am offering you my blood," I finally answered his question and he froze in spot while just staring at me, as he dropped his tail tip and retracted the stinger.
"What?"
"Yeah, I can't believe it either, now come on!" I waved my hand in an encouraging gesture to make him follow me, as I ran back towards the mansion and only prayed to Gaia, that I wouldn't have to see the stars tonight for the last time in my immortal life. I felt a small relief upon hearing the foot steps behind me, which assured me, that he is following me. I even looked at him shortly over my shoulder before minding my path and soon entering the mansion through the main entrance. He followed me anywhere I went and I decided to do this in my room upstairs, but he suddenly grabbed my arm and stopped me from moving any further.
"Huh? What are you doing? We're not there.... yet," I became nearly speechless, when he dragged me into his personal room. His own room! He would never do that, if he was fully in his senses, I could be sure of that.
