I kneeled down next to the fallen vampire's side while staring at his chest, as my eyes landed on the harsh gash covered by his own bloodied hand. Tails helped to apply some pressure on the wound, so Terios wouldn't bleed out.
"He already lost a lot of blood," Tails stated in slightly shaky tone and I fully sat down on the forest ground, as I moved my arms under Terios' body and moved him to lay in my lap, whilst he looked up at me with his hazy eyes. His irises had a dull shade of amber and I quickly understood, that the life essence was slowly escaping his system.
"Y-You did well," he breathed out and lifting his clean hand he cupped my cheek, where I felt the familiar coldness of his fingers.
"Your majesty," I pinned my ears flatly to my head and looked deeply into his slowly dying eyes.
"This isn't the end, you know," I said firmly and recalled the memory of Silver telling me about Maria being mortally wounded all the long years ago and Silver trying to save her by offering her his blood. Speaking of which, Silver appeared next to me and joined me and Tails on the ground by sitting down and placing his transparent hand on Terios' chest.
"He has only a few minutes, before..." he trailed off and I understood without him having to finish the sentence. Giving him a small nod I then lowered my gaze back to the vampire and pressed my wrist close to his mouth.
"Drink, your majesty. You need it," I said calmly, but he had the audacity to shake his head and gently push my wrist away.
"N-No... I a-almost... killed you the last... time I took blood from you. I w-won't repeat... the same mistake," he breathed out with difficulties and I saw his hand dropping on the ground, since he was becoming weaker with each passing second.
"But I am your loyal donator now, remember?"
"You wanna d-do this.. just b-because.. you feel obligated to.. do so, don't you," he scoffed in response, slightly getting on my nerves now.
"That's not true," I denied while shaking my head and letting out a quiet sigh.
"I want you to stay here with us, your majesty. I..." I trailed off, unable to speak of my hidden feelings, which I wasn't going to let out so easily. Besides, now wasn't time for confessions, it was time to save this stubborn vampire's life.
"Y-You what?" he lightly coughed and was visibly in pain, as he grimased and groaned while pressing his own chest with his bloodied hand.
"Nothing," I retorted and firmly pressed my wrist close to his lips again.
"Drink!" I demanded and he still hesitated, so I forcefully inserted my wrist in between his teeth and made his fangs sink deep into my flesh.

The stinging pain shooting through my arm afterwards made me hiss through ny gritted teeth, yet I did not back away, as I watched my own blood streaming down his muzzle and chin.
"Come on, take it! You are strong, I know that for a fact!" Silver even encouraged him, probably hinting, that Terios won't repeat the same mistake twice by taking too much blood. And even if he does, I got Chip by my side, he would surely save my life again. Terios let my blood just stream on his muzzle for a moment, so I applied pressure on his mouth and finally forced him to gulp the first drops of the crimson liquid. Afterwards, he tightly gripped my wrist with his both hands and closing his eyes he started drinking my blood. I readjusted his position, helping him sit up I had him leaning against my chest, whilst he didn't stop sucking the blood out of the vein on my wrist. I felt a painful friction during the movement, which luckily dulled down once we settled again. Moving my other hand onto his head I gently patted the top of it before resting that hand on his side and letting him calmly drink my blood, so he wouldn't die on me here.

Tails seemed to be worried about me, as he pouted at me and Silver just formed a small smile on his face while giving me a nod of approval. I moved my gaze down to the vampire and only prayed, that it wasn't too late to save him. A few minutes later I noticed the wound on his chest healing up, which gave me a sense of hope and comfort, for it meant, that perhaps I did this just in time to prevent the Death from ripping him out of my arms. Since he was feeding of my right wrist, my left wrist was free and we all could see the bracelet's green ball dimly glowing in the dark of the night ruling over the forest at the current moment. The vampire eventually pulled his fangs out of my wrist and I lightly groaned at the dull pain following right after, but it soon died down and did not make me suffer for too long. Terios licked the rest of my blood from his lips and keeping his eyes closed he snuggled to my chest while even quietly purring. I felt tired and a little dizzy, but compared to the first feeding time I did not lose consciousness.
"Are you okay?" Tails asked me quietly afterwards and I gave him a tired smile while nodding.
"Yes, just a bit tired, but I am fine," I assured him and he visibly relaxed, as he stood up and towered over us with his big, fluffy body.
"Let me take you both to the mansion," he offered and I nodded, as I stood up with Terios in my arms and let Tails pick me up, so he could carry the both of us back to the mansion.
"I'm proud of you both!" Silver gave me a bright smile, as he flew next to Tails.
"Heh, thank you, Silver," I replied quietly and tried not to disturb the vampire king's peaceful slumber.
