The car hummed softly as it glided through the night, but the air inside was thick with tension, crackling like static between them. Krit's hands gripped the steering wheel with practiced precision, but every inch of him was aware of Vel beside him, the subtle brush of his leg against his own, the way his eyes lingered on him—watching, waiting.

The night outside seemed calm, but inside, it was anything but. The heat between them was undeniable, simmering just below the surface, yet controlled—barely. Vel's gaze was steady, tracing the lines of Krit’s jaw, the way his lips parted ever so slightly, the tightening of his fingers around the steering wheel. Every detail pulled him deeper into his own desire.

Krit was driving, but his mind was elsewhere—on Vel, on the promises made in the softest of voices. His breathing was measured, but the tension in his body betrayed the calmness he tried to project. Vel noticed it, smirking to himself as he stretched slightly, letting his arm brush against Krit’s. The touch was small but deliberate, a reminder of what was coming.

The silence was heavy, broken only by the faint rhythm of the road beneath them, until finally, Krit’s voice sliced through the quiet. His tone was steady, but the edge of need was unmistakable. “Are you sure?” he asked, his eyes flicking over to Vel for just a second before refocusing on the road ahead. “Are you really sure?”

Vel's smile was slow, his eyes half-lidded as he took in the man beside him. “More than I’ve ever been,” he murmured, voice low and sure, thick with certainty and anticipation.

Krit's lips curved into a smirk as he heard the response, his body thrumming with energy. He didn’t need to look at Vel to know the effect he was having on him—he could feel it in the way Vel’s presence radiated toward him, magnetic and impossible to ignore. He took a breath, his tone teasing as he said, “Don’t be surprised if I do something you never expected tonight.”

Vel chuckled softly, his voice dripping with suggestion. “Mr. Kitkaruwannakul, I *like* surprises.”

Krit’s chest tightened at those words, heat flooding through him. Vel’s gaze was on him again, sharp and hungry, and Krit could feel it—the weight of Vel’s eyes tracing the curve of his neck, the tension in his shoulders, the way his hands gripped the wheel just a little tighter than before. He could feel Vel watching him, studying him, and it made the air between them buzz with an intensity that neither could ignore.

Vel shifted in his seat, inching closer, his fingers resting lightly on Krit’s leg. The touch was brief, but it sent a jolt through Krit’s body. Vel could feel the way Krit stiffened ever so slightly, the way his breath hitched for a split second before he steadied himself. The control was admirable, but Vel could see right through it. He leaned in a little closer, his lips just a whisper away from Krit’s ear.

“You know,” Vel began, his voice low and sultry, “you’re making it really hard for me to wait.”

Krit exhaled sharply, his pulse quickening as he fought to keep his eyes on the road. “If you keep that up,” he said, his voice strained, “we might not make it to the hotel.”

Vel’s laugh was soft, almost wicked, as he pulled back just slightly, his hand lingering on Krit’s thigh, teasing. “Then drive faster.”

The tension was unbearable now, the space between them filled with an almost electric charge. Vel’s touch was light but deliberate, tracing lazy patterns over Krit’s leg, each movement sending another spark of desire coursing through his body. Krit gritted his teeth, determined to get them home as quickly as possible, but Vel wasn’t making it easy.

He could feel the heat radiating off of Vel, could sense the way his boyfriend’s gaze lingered on him, heavy with desire. It was intoxicating, overwhelming, and Krit was doing everything in his power to stay in control. But the more Vel touched him, the harder it became to resist the pull between them.
