At the Kitkaruwannakul family mansion, Krit's father, Lek, paced back and forth in his office, the tension in the air palpable. He had just finished his call with Krit and was furious, not just for his son but for Vel, the man Krit had clearly grown to care about deeply. This wasn't just an issue about hurt feelings-Emma had crossed a line that could have long-lasting consequences.

Lek knew exactly what he had to do. He picked up his phone and called Emma's father, Mr. Prasert Kitpakorn, a well-known politician in Thailand. Despite their differences in profession, Lek knew his influence extended far beyond his business dealings, and Prasert was aware of that, too.

"IPrasert, we need to talk. Now," Lek barked into the phone.

"Lek, what's this about? I'm in the middle of-"

"I don't give a damn what you're in the middle of. This is about your daughter. She's been meddling in my family's life, and I won't stand for it."

Prasert paused on the other end of the line, his tone shifting slightly. "What did Emma do now?"

Lek's voice was cold and sharp. "She's tormenting Krit's partner, Vel. She told him lies, insulted him, and caused him serious emotional harm. If she wasn't your daughter, Prasert, I swear I would've already taken drastic measures."

There was silence for a moment, and then Prasert sighed. "Lek, I'll handle it. I'm sorry if Emma's behavior has-"

"No," Lek interrupted, his voice rising. "Sorry isn't enough. This is your responsibility. I suggest you get her into therapy, or something worse will happen. My son's partner is not a toy for your daughter to play with."

Prasert, knowing the stakes, tried to keep the conversation diplomatic. "Lek, I understand your concern. Emma has been... troubled lately. I'll do everything I can to keep her in check, and I'll make sure she stays away from your family."

Lek wasn't buying it. His anger flared again, and before he could control himself, he was on his feet, walking around the office, fists clenched. "I'm warning you, Prasert. You might be a politician, but don't forget who helps finance your campaigns. Don't forget who pulls the strings behind the scenes. If your daughter ever messes with Krit or Vel again, you'll lose more than just my support. I'll personally make sure your career is over."

Prasert tried to de-escalate, knowing that losing Lek's influence could be disastrous for his political career. "Lek, please. I'll make sure this never happens again. Emma will be watched closely, I swear."

But Lek wasn't done. He felt the need to send a clear message. He marched over to Prasert's office, where he barged in without hesitation. Prasert, who had been waiting for the inevitable confrontation, stood up from his desk.

"You think words are enough?" Lek growled as he grabbed Somchai by the collar, his face inches from the politician's. "I don't care who you are. You keep your daughter in line, or I'll make you regret it. If Emma does anything to hurt my son, or Vel, there won't be a place on this earth you can hide from me."

Prasert's eyes widened in shock and fear. He had known Lek was powerful and aggressive in his business dealings, but this level of fury was something else. "Lek, please, calm down. I'll fix this. Emma will be handled, I promise."

Lek released him with a shove, taking a step back but still glaring at the man before him. "I don't want promises, Prasert. I want results. If I hear even a whisper of Emma going near them again, you'll wish you'd never crossed me."

Prasert adjusted his collar, nodding hurriedly. "Understood. I'll take care of it."

Without another word, Lek turned and stormed out of the office, his mind still racing with thoughts of how to protect his son and Vel. Despite his strained relationship with Krit, the fierce protective instinct he had for his family was undeniable. He couldn't stand by and let Emma wreak havoc on their lives.
