Outside Krit's University
Morning. The sleek black car pulls up to the front of Krit's university, where students are bustling about, heading to their classes. Krit steps out of the car with an air of confidence, dressed in his usual turtle neck and formal bottoms, while Vel follows, his eyes scanning the area with practiced vigilance.
As they start walking toward the entrance, Krit glances sideways at Vel, who’s keeping a professional distance behind him.
Krit:(without looking back) You don’t have to follow me like a shadow, you know. People might think I’m paranoid.
Vel: (deadpan) That’s my job, Khun. kitkaruwannakul. Making sure no one gets the chance to mess with you.
Krit smirks, enjoying the subtle challenge in Vel's tone.
Krit:(teasing) You sure it’s not because you just like being close to me?
Vel gives him a look, unimpressed.
Vel:(dryly) Trust me, I’ve had better company.
Krit clearly enjoying this back-and-forth.
Krit:(smirking) Is that so? Then why do you look like you’re about to bite anyone who gets too close?
Vel shrugs, keeping his expression neutral.
Vel:(calmly) I’m just doing my job. You’re the one who hired me, remember.
Krit rolls his eyes but can’t help the smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
Krit:(mocking) Right, because I’m such a helpless little thing who needs constant protection.
Vel’s lips twitch into a smirk, his eyes briefly meeting Krit’s.
Vel:(with a hint of sarcasm) You said it, not me.
They reach the entrance of the university, the doors opening automatically as they approach. Krit stops just inside, turning to face Vel.
Krit:(more seriously, but still with a teasing edge) Try not to scare off my friends, alright? I’d like to keep at least some of them.
Vel:(mockingly) I’ll do my best… boss.
Krit chuckles again, shaking his head as he turns and heads into the university, Vel following a few steps behind. Despite the bickering, there’s an unspoken understanding between them—a tension that neither is quite ready to acknowledge.
University Lecture Hall –
Mid-MorningKrit enters the lecture hall, the buzz of students talking filling the air. He makes his way to his usual spot, greeting a few of his friends along the way. Just outside the door, Vel stands with his arms crossed, eyes sharp as he surveys the hallway, ever vigilant.
As Krit settles into his seat, one of his friends, Michael, leans over with a grin.
Michael:(curious) Who’s the guy outside? New bodyguard?
Krit:(casual) Yeah, that’s Vel. My dad hired him.
Another friend, Emma, who’s sitting next to Krit, leans in closer, resting her hand on his arm.
Emma:(playfully) He looks pretty intense. You sure you’re safe around him?
Krit chuckles, shrugging off her hand with a polite smile.
Krit:(nonchalant) Vel’s fine. He’s just doing his job.
Emma doesn’t seem to get the hint, scooting even closer to Krit, her voice dropping to a more flirtatious tone.
