Dear Readers,

A very happy Ganesh Chaturthi. May Lord Ganesha fill your life with health wealth and happiness. May your families live in peace and prosperity!

Next update is on Monday, if the feedback comes back before 8 PM Sunday. (Tomorrow.) The update will be published between 8 PM and 11 PM. Those who find it difficult can check at 11 PM.

I have seen a few comments asking about the number of chapters. The book was written to wind up at chapter 30, but sometimes during the course of editing, posting and taking scene requests the chapters may stretch on. I cannot give a conclusive number, however when the book is about to wind up I will give a week's warning. The series will stay for 48 hours after it is marked complete and then sent to the preliminary editor for editing, post which it will be shifted to digital platforms for sale.

Love

Abhi waited in silence in his room

Abhi waited in silence in his room. His heart pounding with fear. He was waiting for Seraphina to fall asleep. No one could keep a 24 hour vigil, his experience with the monsters told him that. Life always gave an opportunity to escape. It was on the person to grab the opportunity or let it pass. Abhi had always fought for himself. For the first time ever he had more motivation to escape. His desire to reunite with his family.

Once he escaped all he had to do was contact his bhaiyu or bhaiya. They would make sure he was safe. One opportunity that he all he needed. As the clock struck three in the morning, Abhi tiptoed out of the bedroom. The house was quite, he could hear the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. There was no sight of a living soul outside.

He knew Seraphina resided on the ground floor. Once he came down, he dared to peak a look into her bedroom. He was taken aback when there was no one in the bed. Did she leave him alone in the prison and vanish? Abhi was confused. She did not look like the type to slack in her job.

He looked around carefully, there was no one around. Abhi gathered his courage and walked to the door, to his immense surprise he found it open. Not wasting time he pushed the door open, only to find her seated at the door steps. Abhi sighed in frustration. He should have trusted his instincts.
