The sky was dark with clouds, mirroring the turmoil in his heart. The full tide surged with anger, each wave crashing onto the rocky shore with a destructive force. The waves roared, in fury, echoing the anguish that tore through his soul. The sea always calmed him down but that day, it intensified his anxiety.
He knew what he was about to would risk everything he had fought for, but he could not sacrifice his brother. His decision was already made, there was no turning back for him, but he wished they a little more time. He was not ready and neither was his family.
The phone buzzed startling him out of his thoughts. He saw the number and sighed. Karan would not appreciate his decision. He wished he was a free bird, but he was bound by his family. Karan kept him grounded, he could not insult the man by keeping him in the dark.
"Kaha hai tu? (Where are you)" Karan did not wait for his response. The worry in his voice was palpable.
"What happened?"
"The DNA test will be delayed. Abhay's flight was diverted because of bad weather"
The clouds rumbled in protest, voicing his agitation.
"How long?"
"We don't know. Time is not on our side AR. We need to make a call. Everyone is awaiting your command. The boy is with her. I know it. I can get to him."
"I am right there, I can get to him faster."
"What?" Karan's voice boomed, "what do you mean you are there? What are you planning AR?"
"I will get the boy....."
"NO"
"Abhi has gone though hell Wadhwa, do you want the boy to suffer more."
