Lucifer glared at the feed, his eyes blazing with anger. Once again the Phoenix outwitted him. His hands fisted by his side, as he tried to control anger, but it was a futile attempt. The Phoenix message was a slap to his face. He brought his fist down on the table, making the glass shatter on impact. The shards flew everywhere, making his minions duck in fear.
"Lucifer" A lady stepped out of the shadows and reached for his hand, Lucifer pulled his hand away in anger.
"You told me he was dead" His cold voice sent shivers down her spine, but the lady did not show it. Fear was for the weaker. They were brave warriors. Lilith warped her arms around Lucifer, burying her face into his warmth.
"Clam down, Lucifer."
"You want me to calm down?" Lucifer pushed her away, too angry to care about her feelings. Lilith stumbled but steadied herself.
"This anger will be your undoing, Lucifer. What is wrong with you? Since the moment that boy shot Jinesh you have not been yourself. Where is the Lucifer who commanded with control? Where is the man I fell in love with?"
"My brother is dead, Lilith. Do you expect me to forget that?"
"Of course not," Lilith reached for his hands, clasping them gently. "You have the right to avenge his death, but we have a big mission before us. You are losing control. If you lose control we will not win, Lucifer. Please. Calm down. We need our commander back. Now we know for sure the Phoenix is back. We have to be more careful."
"How is he alive?" Lucifer pulled back, this time he was no longer furious. Lilith managed to calm him down. Like she always did. "Imraan killed him with his own hands."
