For more than a decade of his life, the twinkling stars in the night sky were the only friends Abhi had. The stars helped him find solace. They helped him stay sane. They heard his troubles and soothed his wounds. The days he could not see the stars Abhi felt lost.

Abhi looked up at the stars, his forever friends. They were shining a little brighter. Abhi was not unhappy, but he was restless. Deception left a bitter taste in his mouth. Every time he closed his eyes he could only think about Ashok.

"Who gave you the kaadha, Abhi?" Abhi could not get the question out of his mind. No matter how hard he tried he could not shrug off the guilt. He had seen the longing in Ashok's eyes. He loved Maan. A father who loved his child did not deserve to be left hurting. Roohi told him that Arjun was talking to Ashok. Abhi could only pray that his Bhaiyu would succeed in consoling Ashok.

"I didn't want to deceive him." Abhi whispered his pain. "He will hate me forever for this."

The only answer was the whispering wind. Abhi shivered. It was rare for weather to turn cold at that time of the year, but the brewing storm brought in a gush of cold wind. Abhi was only wearing a tank top and shorts. Not ideal clothes for a chilly weather.
