The hospital storeroom was not the ideal place for a meeting, its confined walls, and the shelves filled with medical supplies, made it almost impossible to breathe. The faint scent of antiseptic was anything but pleasant. The air was heavy with silence, almost unnervingly so. The room was isolated, hidden in a corner of the bustling hospital. That was the reason why the Black Phoenix had chosen the place. The team Phoenix assembled there, guised as doctors and nurses. No one paid heed to the blue scrubs in a hospital. It was the easiest way to blend in.
Maan leaned against the wall with his eyes closed. He felt the burden of the mask. For years he had embraced his identity, walking in the shadows. The animosity did not bother him. He reveled in it, but for the first time he wanted to be free, he needed to be free.
"Sir, the information is correct." Nisha broke the silence. "She was here to make a deal with Vivan. A consignment would come in three days. I do not know what it contains, but she is paying him a heavy price to have it imported."
The Phoenix nodded his head. He suspected so much. Lucifer was moving his pawns. The plan was very much in effect. If his suspicion was right then the container would be loaded with explosives.
"We need more information on the consignment." Karan pointed out. "If we get the exact date of shipment..."
"I can get the information, jij... Sir" Andy chimed in. "If the consignment comes in the name of Vivan, or any of his companies, I will get a trace."
