Two weeks later.

The classroom erupted in a fit of giggles then became quiet as my students concentrated on the cartoon playing on the white board. Earlier I had set the projector up and played inside out.

I promised them if they were on their best behaviour we would do different fun activities at the end of each week. They had been littles angels ever since with only a few mishaps here and there but very good and on their best behaviour non the less.

I would have still done the  activities regardless but a little encouragement didn't hurt.
Yeah I did good with that one.

As of a week ago I was back at work nurturing little minds as I liked to call it. It had helped me tremendously with my emotions, I felt as if I had a purpose again. The world wasn't ending and they were really lifting my spirits.

Until I went home that is.

"Miss Small can I go to the bathroom please?"

Adding the last smiley to the book I was marking I looked across at him from my desk.

"Yes you may Zayden, you know the rules and remember to wash your hands." I reminded him.

At times they would go to the bathroom and get distracted venturing to other classrooms or try going to the playground. As children they needed constant reminders and clear boundaries especially at four and five years old.

"Miss small?" Turning to the front of the class, Mr Benjamin walked in.

"Hello class."

"Hello Mr Benjamin." They said in unison.
I smiled to myself, times like these they were my little munchkins, soo tute.

Okay what was up?

"There's something at the front desk for you." Just letting you know so you stop by before you leave."

What could that be ?

"Thanks did you leave it there?" I asked.

"Oh no it's was a delivery."

Well okay then, I hoped it was not Rodaine again.  He had been trying all different ways to get to me, thankfully security was now at the apartment complex at all times so he couldn't get in. God is really good because that in itself was a blessing.
He was getting out of hand.

"Okay thanks for telling me sir, could you give Annette these papers for me since you're going back that way now."

You still gotta go up there to see Annette. Why him never just bring it?

He nodded taking the papers from me.

Mr Benjamin was the principal. He was a short middle aged man, very serious when he needed to be and always very stern. He'd taken me on fresh out of college when I could only work part time, then hired me full time when I could take it on.

I kept my eyes on the students. All 14 of them, seven boys and seven girls. I had changed classes at the beginning of the new school year about three months ago. Switching from class one to class two and for me personally class one was way more manageable.

The bell rang and I groaned as they began to complain because the movie wasn't finished.

"Okay settle down class, don't worry we can continue Monday."

"Okay Miss!"

"Miss can't we watch it until our parents come?"

"Then some will see how it ends and some won't."
