A Love Soaked In Blood

This is not what I hoped when I said enlightening.
They have caught a vampire and brought her here, a female one I recognized immediately, she is one of the castle's maids.
My blood turns cold at the possibility of father sacrificing her to speed things up.
Her mouth is gagged and her body is full of cuts and burns and one of her legs is chopped off, wrapped in blooded cloth, two men are keeping her standing. She looks at me with pleading eyes and it breaks me because I can't do anything to save her.
James grins and tilts his his chin "well done, now show me"
Owen approaches her holding a lighter and she tries to back away but the two tighten their grip on her, one of them even stabs her shoulder and she whines.
I dig my nails in my hands and suck in a breath. James grabs my face, his grin is wide "don't look away"
I'll be damned if I did, I'm going to watch everything and keep it tucked in my memory so it fuels me when I kill you all.
Owen steps closer and brings the lighter to her face and she lets out a muffled scream as the fire eats her flesh, leaving a thick red scar
Owen steps back and turns to James "they can't heal a burn"
"That's an approval for grenades" James rubs his chin "and?"
Owen reaches to a silver dagger on the table, she shakes her head and tries to break free in a failed attempt as Owen approaches her with a disgusting glee on his face. He raises the dagger high then cuts one of her hands, blood pours out like a river and she screams again and collapses to the floor
I'm going to be sick.
"They can't regenerate" Owen's hand clutches her throat and lifts her up
"Fetch someone to clean this!" he shouts at a man before he faces his brother again "another approval, now get rid of her"
She turns to me with teary eyes before Owen stabs her in the heart.
Her name was Fiona.
I swear I'll avenge her.
"Did you enjoy the show?" James asks as Owen pulls out his bloodied knife from Fiona's lifeless body
I stand and glare at him "you enjoy the people's sufferings don't you?"
"People?" He stands too, towering me "you pity monsters?"
I don't respond
"Do you have an empathy for monsters?"
I don't respond
"Answer me!" He shouts and I give in to my anger and point a knife at his chest, the men gasp and one of them points a gun
"Don't you dare think about it! I'll kill him before you fire!" I shouldn't do this but...Screw it all.
I'm done.
James raises a hand and the man lowers his gun
"You are the monster" I spit the words
He grins "you need a monster to fight one"
"The people don't like you"
"Let them be for all I care"
"You murdered your parents!" I shout loud to make sure everyone in the room hears and they gasp
Everyone freezes
One of the men steps forward "you killed the previous boss? But you said--"
James scowls and cuts him "don't believe everything you hear"
"Didn't you say I can tell everyone so they fear you more?"
He grits his teeth and yells "FIRE!"
I toss him and slide under the table to the other side of the room then throw a knife at one of the men and it lands in his thigh and he collapses
"What are you waiting for idiots? Shoot her!"
Five left and only one knife thanks to this stupid off the shoulder top
I need to get out of here, of course they are blocking the exit
"Sir the walls are from glass, the room will shatter if we misfire"
An idea sparks
I back away till my back touches the glass "cowards" I raise the middle finger
Two point their guns while Owen and another one with brown hair storm to me with daggers, I stab the brown haired at the heart then whirl and dodge Owen's hit before I kick the dagger from his hand, in the next second the guns start shooting so I duck and hide behind the dead man's body and Owen rolls out of the bullets way as they hit the glassy wall behind me. I stand and throw the dead man at the shooters and they stop firing and scatter so I seize the opportunity and shatter the holed glass with my elbow
"You idiots!" James yells in anger and I see him in the corner of my eye pointing a gun at me as I jump out the room, he fires but misses my shoulder by inches.
Humans gasp as I fall before Elias leaps and catches me mid air then lands on his feet, he lifts me up and hurries out the building, he turns right and left and after making sure no one is on sight he jumps so high and we disappear in the shadows of the night sky.

"You could have told me to prepare for your dramatic leave" Elias says with a mock
We land on one of the building's rooftops, far away from that club and anyone's sight.
He sits and places me on his lap slowly.
"It all happened so fast" not that I didn't enjoy it
His eyes darken at the cut on my shoulder and my bloodied elbow
"I'm fine"
"I'll kill him"
"You will but not now"
He palms the wounds and they are gone in seconds "you made quite a fuss up there"
"That's the point, I want him to send someone to kill me which will probably be tomorrow night"
He raises an eyebrow "why would you want that?"
A bat flies to us and Albert transforms to stand in front of me "I didn't find you in that house so I kept searching the area" he bows "I came on Sunday as you requested your highness"
I grin, it's almost over.
