Kai groaned as he sat up one morning. The birds were chirping, and the sun was shining in his room. He opened an eye, and his hand fell on some moving thing!
He gasped and removed his hand. He turned, to find the poor blue ninja, sniffing in his sleep.
Yes there's a thing called sleep crying I've done it many times and once my sister made a video. That was bad but ah well
Kai turned his brother, lifting the cover a bit more. " Oh, Jay." He whispered soothingly. " You're okay."
He offered a sleeping Jay his arm, and without a second thought, Jay cuddled with it, and nestled closer. Kai could feel Jay's heart against his arm, and on boy did it scare him. His heart was faster than ever!
Then Kai glanced at the time.
Six in the morning.
He didn't wake up until nine.
He settled back on his bed and scooted closer to Jay, enveloping him in a warm hug.
" Night, bro." He muttered snuggling closer. " See you in the morning."
Jay answered by snuggled closer. Kai sighed and turned his body, closed his eyes, and let the sleep come to him.

" KAI PLEASE DON'T EAT ME!" Jay yelled, sitting up.
Kai's ears perked immediately. " Jay?* He asked, sleep thick in his voice.
He could feel something racing.
Jay's heart.
Kai's eyes widened and he sat up. " Jay?*
Jay was still immersed in his dream. " KAI I'M NOT TASTY! KAI, I'M SORRY!"
Kai jolted fully awake, his mind racing as he processed Jay's panicked words. "Jay, buddy, it's just a dream," Kai said softly, reaching out to gently shake his brother's shoulder. "You're safe."
Jay, still caught in the throes of his nightmare, whimpered, clutching the blanket tightly. His breaths were rapid, and his eyes, though open, were clouded with fear.
"Jay!" Kai called again, a little louder this time, hoping to pull him from the nightmare. He wrapped an arm around Jay's trembling frame, trying to calm him. "Hey, it's me. I'm right here, okay?"
Jay blinked, his eyes finally clearing as he came back to reality. His breath hitched, and he let out a soft sob as he looked at Kai, wide-eyed and scared.
"Kai?" Jay whispered, his voice shaky.
"Yeah, it's me," Kai said soothingly, rubbing his brother's back in slow circles. "I'm not gonna eat you, buddy. That was just a dream."
