Ninjago Stories Part Two

Road trip

Ki“ And what are we supposed to do with all this…. Stuff?”  Jay asked hesitantly as he nudged a bag.
“ What do you think?” Mia replied as she stood on the wall that separated her house from villains.
Then, she squealed. “ Finally!”
She jumped off and ran down the stairs. “ Nelson! What did you find out?”
Nelson’s expression was grave. “ You were right.”
Mia nodded. “ Then we leave in the van. Now.”
She picked Nelson’s bags and grunted as she heaved them in. “ What did you bring in here?”
Nelson smirked as he took a handle. “ All the necessities.”
Mia glared at him. “ You’re so annoying. I told you, we don’t need all this!”
Nelson gave her a look. “ Hey, where are your animals?”
“ Waiting for their butler.”
“ Oh.”
“ That’s you.”
“ Tha- HEY!”

It was clear that all the animals were excited. Charmander and Bulbasaur looked out the window, while Squirtle and Pikachu read a magazine.
And Blackie?
Well, the spoiled cat had a monocle on, sipping tea and reading a magazine.
Mia glanced back at her cat. “ Blackie, chill on the british attire, would you?”
Blackie gave her a bored look and sipped his tea, making a very loud slurping sound. “ No.”
Mia laid her head on the dashboard. “ This is gonna be one long ride.”
Blackie gave her an unimpressed look. “ Listen, darling. Sometimes you’ve got to act the part.”
“ But in the car? With us?” Mia cried.
Nelson looked away from the road for a second to look at Mia. “ Easy, Mia. We’ll be there soon.”
Mia moaned. “ I know, I know. He’s just driving me CRAZY!”
Blackie sighed. “ Fine. If it’s driving you that crazy, I’ll stop.”
“ Thank you!” Mia exclaimed gratefully.
But five minutes later, the slurping sound came again. Mia put a pillow on her face. “ Blackie!” She groaned. “ You said you’d stop.”
“ I did.” Blacke replied slyly. “ For five minutes.”
Before Mia could shoot something back at him, Nelson exclaimed, “ Look!”
Mia sighed as she turned her head to the window, and gasped.
There was a beach.
And not any beach, mind you.
A beach with blue sand and pink water.
“ PIka Pi!”
Let’s go there!
Mia laughed. “ Park for a moment, would you?” She requested.
As soon as the van stopped, doors opened, and Mia, Charmadner, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and PIkachu came jumping out.
“ Wooooow!” Mia gasped in awe as she took in her surroundings.
The animals were already busy, building a sandcastle.
Mia groaned. “ Pikachu…….”
Then she gave in. “ Yeah, you’re right. We can travel later.”
She quickly jumped into the building, and said, “ Don’t leave too quickly. Bye, guys.”
That scared Blackie and Nelson.
“ TIME TO LEAVE!” Blackie yelled as he striked a gong. The four POkemon and their sandcastle went flying in all directions, while Mia put her hands in her ears and said, “ wah- wah- wah!”
The four POkemon went into Mia’s arm as she met Blackie’s gaze. “ Maybe we can go later?”
Blackie sighed. “ No.”
Mia groaned. “ Can we at least make a new sandcastle? To make the Pokemon happy?”
Blacie looked at the four animals in Mia’s hands and sighed. “ Fine.”
“ YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” Mia yelled as she fished her bag for a camera. “ Let's have fun!”
