Escape

Karan along with Teju's mom reached the abandoned mill where the police had heavily fenced the entire property. The policemen were everywhere heavily armed and getting prepared to enter anytime. Karan saw all of it and rushed to Ajay uncle.

"Uncle please let me go in with you"
"Karam...are you mad... it's too risky out there"
"I know but Teju is there. I have to go"
"What you have to do is trust the police and let us handle it. If you cross the door you'll be a liability to us. Please have a little patience and wait here...trust me...Teju will be alright. "
"But uncle..."
"Ok karan enough... Now we can't wait more. We have to go in right now."

Inspector Ajay left. He summoned his team, gave them instructions and finally moved towards the property. Karan stood there silently. He was denied the access to move in but he wouldn't stay quiet. He saw Dane Sam and Amy reach there. He looked at them and they knew by his look that he is upto something.
Karan decided to let the cat out.
"I am going in."
"Whattt.." (All said in unison)
"Yes...I can't stay here and wait for them to come out. "
"Karan don't be a kid...I can't let you go in. We don't know how many people are in there."
"Dane...please understand.... it's Teju in there. I would have done it for you guys as well...but right now it's her. She needs me... Please don't stop me. "
All of them looked at each other. Teju's mother had tears in her eyes hearing Karan. She could see the love he had for her and that nothing would happen to Teju. She stepped in and said
"Karan you can go in...but I won't let you go alone... I'll go with you. We need all the help we can get."
"Okk fine then...we are also going in...we are in this together. At last , I get to show my karate skills. Teju we are coming for you."(Sam said)
"But we must have some weapons as well."(Dane said)
"Bro do you still have a bat and a hockey stick in your car?"
"Yesss..... I'll just bring it."
Teju's mom searches the police van and finds a gun...she hides it inside her saree and accompanies her.
Karan notices her and comes near her to warn her
"Please don't do anything stupid 🙏 Teju ko kich bhi problem ni honi chahiye"
" Don't worry, meri wajah se use ab koi problem ni hogi Karan🙂"

They finally assemble all the things. Karan's eyes fall on the bullet proof jackets but they were one short. Teju's mom insisted them to wear it so they obeyed her. Finally they move towards the mill. They peaked in through a window. They could estimate a dozen of men and one of the man had a black mask. They assumed him to be the main person. Dane found a staircase at the back entrance that led to the first floor. They decided to enter through the first floor so they have an upper hand. But Karan got confused about where the police men were. He peaked in again...only to find that all the police men were lying on the floor and some were being tied on the chair. He could also find a spray bottle near by. He had an idea that it must be some chloroform thing. He stopped everyone and told them to tie their faces so that they won't inhale anything of such properties.

Dane entered the first floor followed by everyone else. They hid behind a huge trunk kept over there. Karan could see Teju unconscious lying on a chair . She was profusely bleeding. His heart ached seeing her. He had so much rage inside her that he could even kill for her. But he knew he had to calm down and patiently tackle the situation. He messages his father to send more police force at the concerned place. He put his phone on silent and whispered in Dane's ears to distract the goons outside. Dane and Amy went out and climbed up a tree and started throwing stones on the roof of the mill causing a loud sound. Karan smiled as he knew it was his friend. The main man send some of his men to have a look outside. As soon as they went out, Dane signalled amy to do his work. He threw a big stone at their hands together and the weapons fell down from their hands. Amy immediately sprayed some chilly spray in their eyes and tied their hands. Meanwhile, Dane stepped down and ties their mouth and hid them a far away from the mill.

When the two goons, did not come back, the main man again sent two of them to find them. Dane and Amy waited for other goons to come and as soon as they came out, both of them repeated the process and tied them again and hid them.

Now the main man was frustrated at this. He sent his four men outside but this time. Dane and Amy didn't do anything. They let the four men find their partners. They followed them silently and hit them with a base bat making them unconscious. "8 men down. 5 more to go " -Dane messaged Karan. Karan saw the message and thanked god for supporting them.

Now he wanted to make the move. He signalled Sam to distract the goons to come upstairs. So Sam took out her umbrella and thew it over the men. The main man growled and sent two more goons to see who it is. They came up but before they could do anything, Karan and Sam clutched their mouth from behind and Teju's mom tied their mouth and hand and locked them in a room.

3 more to go. They did the same thing again, and again two more of the goons were trapped by the gang. Now only the main person was left there. Karan examined him thoroughly but couldn't find any weapon on him, so he decided to make the move. All of them stood up and started walking down towards Teju. The man was startled seeing all of them together. He started shouting,
"Who are you all? How did you get here? Get out of here now"

But they kept on walking towards him. Meanwhile, the police force arrived and now the man was angered more. He took out a gun from his vest, and pointed it at Teju. All of them stopped and they were shocked to see the gun in his hand. He threatened them
"Take one more step, and I will kill the girl."
"Noo....nooo(Karan pleaded him)

"Just shut up ....throw your weapons and on your knees. "

Teju's mom noticed something in his neck. It was a chain. She remembered the chain. She gifted it to her fiance. She knew who this person is. It was none other than James. Her heart broke but still she hoped it to not be him. She stood up and pointed the gun towards him and
"Stop your dirty plans James"

The man seemed to be in shock.

"I know its youm why do you want to hurt my daughter huh? What did she do to you? We were about to get married."

The man finally removed his mask and it was revealed to be James Gilbert, Parul Wayngankar's fiance. Tears welled down from her eyes. He started laughing like a maniac. Teju started gaining consciousness but still everything was blurred. Karan looked at her and he slowly started to move towards her.

"Hahahahaah, so finally you caught me."
"Answer me James, Why all this?"
" Because you were about to transfer all your property to this good for nothing daughter of yours. I was there for you when no one else was. What did I get in return? Nothing. What about my son? You never considered my son as yours. I had to kill her to get the property after marrying you."
" You wanted to marry me only for the property?"
" No....earlier I didn't but your behaviour changed my perspective. I had to do something."
" But James it's my daughter's right over my property. We could have made a fortune out together. But you chose to hurt my daughter. I can't forgive you for this."
" Parul, you don't have to be so sentimental. Anyways your daughter is not living with you. She doesn't even like you. In fact she hates you. Let her die...let her rot in hell...
*Parul shoots at James*

The police arrived at the same time. James fell down with a thud.

Karan immediately unties Teju and hugs her. She was still not in complete consciousness but could understand what was going on.
Parul on the other hand, throws the gun and run towards Teju to hug her but the police stops her and handcuffs her.

"I am sorry Mrs. Parul, but we have to arrest you."
Parul looks at Karan and then at Teju. She smiles with tears in her eyes. She mouthes "I love you beta" to Teju and the police takes her. Karan runs towards her and assures her,
"Don't worry aunty, I'll talk to dad, he will take you out as soon as possible."
"Take care of Teju. As long as you are there I have nothing to worry."

The police takes her and Karan returns to Teju and hugs her tightly. She couldn't even stand on her own because of weakness, so she again fell on his chest losing her consciousness.
