"Dad I can't leave her alone. I have no idea who these people are nor does she. Please let her stay for some days."

" She can stay here for some days. But what about her family members? Will they be okay about this? "

Karan spoke with his father and he was surprised at the fact that his father actually got convinced so easily. He turned back to go to Teju who was in the living room with his mom when he heard his dad call his name,

"Karan"

"Yes dad"

"Try to ask her who these people were. Anything she heard, or noticed or maybe somewhere she had seen them...it will be easy for the police to get deeper into the case. "

"Sure dad"

Karan left from there and Karan's dad called somebody.

"Kuch pata chala?"
" Tumhe ek kaam diya tha karne ko vo bhi ni hua. I don't have much time. I need every detail as soon as possible."
He cuts the call in anger and sits on his rocking chair.

On the other hand, Karan goes where teju was sitting. He told his mom,
"Maa, dad is okay with Teju staying here."
"Ohh..thank god, beta I'll get your room prepared in half an hour. If you want you can use Karan's washroom to get fresh. "
Teju just nodded slightly. She did not speak a word since she came out of the house. Karan noticed it but of course it was a big shock for her so he didn't force any conversation and was just giving her time.

She stood up and went to his room to change. She took a bath and came out of the room. Karan was standing out of the room itself. Teju was just combing her hair when suddenly the lights went out. Teju's hands started shaking badly. Sweat beads appeared on her face. Tears welled on her face. She started shouting

"Karan...karannn...karannn....!"
Karan was waiting outside his room for Teju to come out. He saw the light go out so he just turned to fetch a candle. Suddenly, he heard teju screaming his name from inside. He ran inside only to find Teju on the floor in a pitied condition. She was shivering badly. Karan hugged her immediately calming her down.
"Teju shhh...mai hu yahi...teju..calm down calm down...take deep breaths okk... deep breaths .."
Hearing his voice, she calmed a little. Luckily, the light came back and teju felt relieved.
"Teju kya hua tha .."
"Vo light chali gayi thi mujhe andhere  se dar lagta hai. "
"Oh...I am so sorry....i didn't know that.. otherwise mai tumhe akele ni chor k jata....I am so sorry."
"It's ok Karan...you didn't know. "
"Choro ye sab ..coffee peeni hai?"
"Tum banaoge?"
"Haa...why not?"
"Okk.."

He turned back to go out but Teju held his hand.
"Don't go please"
"Teju...tumhe is ghar me kisi se bhi darne ki koi zrurt ni h ok.. you are safe here. Accha agar tumhe chahiye to tum bhi mere sath kitchen me chalo...hm sath me coffee bnate hai"
"Okk" teju said smiling.
