Jealous?

The next morning, Tejasswi woke up with a resolution in her mind. She knew she had to fight for him and also get to know the reason why he denied having feelings for her.
She got fresh and left for college. Sam and Amy were waiting for her in class. Around 8, Teju entered the class with a big fat smile on her face. Sam and Amy looked at each other in confusion. Sam said
"Bhai mujhe bhi lagta hai ye Gajni ban chuki hai ."
"Bro...I told you.... she is not normal. "

Teju comes and wishes them good morning. They wished her back. Sam and Amy eyed each other to talk to Teju. Sam finally spoke,
"Teju...are you alright?"
"Yeah I am completely fine. See I am smiling...."
"Bro I know you are smiling but its ok to feel bad. Don't hide your emotions. We are there for you always."
"Yes Teju, you are not alone, we will always stand by you."
"Sam....Amy I know you both are there for me...but trust me I am very happy now. Everything became crystal clear last night. "
"What do you mean? Teju spill the tea"
"Karan came to my room last night thinking I was sleeping."
"Whatttt....(Sam screamed and the entire class looked at them)"
"Sam...keep it low.."
"Sorry sorry... please continue."
"He came last night, he thought I was sleeping but I was not. I heard him saying that he loves me but there is something or someone that is stopping him to let me close to him. I just have to figure out what is that."
"He actually confessed to you ? "
"Yes..."
" Oh God, I feel so guilty that I sunaoed him so much last night. "
"Sam, you don't have to feel guilty, you reacted seeing me in that condition. And I am very grateful for both of you. I have never been too lucky in friendship and relationships. But now I have you both and I am definitely going to bring him back to me. "
"Teju..we are with you on this. Just tell us what we need to do. "
"Nothing ..but just find a boy for me "
"Sheee... Teju....kesi baate karrhi hai yarr....Karan k hote hue.....
"Samm....stop it....are you mad...I need a boy to make Karan jealous. Nothing else.... Come out of your la la land....urghhh"
"Oopsie....okk done. Amy is your friend single now? "
"Single and spicy babe...."
"Hey bhagwan mai kya karu in dono ka? "

They started laughing and actually enjoying. Avika entered and saw them happy. She was surprised to see her smiling after last night. So she decided to poke her again.
"Hey good morning bitches.....here do you see this picture. This is me...getting miss fresher and most popular title last night. Ohh...I saw you running out of the venue....did you actually run away or was it something else ?"
"Congratulations Avika (Teju spoke) yes...actually I ran away... I was trying to hold myself from not puking at someone. That someone was wearing a third class out of fashion velvet silhouette dress with pom poms....yuckk....I mean who wears that in a prom night...am I right Sam?"(That was Avika itself who wore the dress described above)
"How dare you call me old fashioned? I am the fucking Miss fresher and you are a nobody"
"Yeah... right....I am happy to be a nobody. You got the title...good for you....I am not jealous of you...so you don't have to poke me thinking I'll react the way you want me to.... you may be anything to anyone..but for me you are just a nobody...a bloody nobody. So next time when you think of poking me .. remember these words as a direct insult on your face. Now please...go and sit at your place...otherwise you'll be snatching somebody else's seat..."
Avika's face angered but she didn't say anything. She was not ready for the blunt answers.
"Woww....madam apke charan kidhar hai...? Mai to tujhe naive bholi bhali samjhti thi...tu to is Avika ki maa nikli. Vaahh....I am loving this day already."
"Haha....school me mene ese bohot log handle kiye hai...so somewhere I am a bitch to those who try to poke a finger at me unnecessarily. I would rather fight with someone who's actually deserving of that attention of mine. "
"Teju baba ki jai ho"(sam)
"Teju baba ki jai ho"(amy)

After two lectures, they had their lunch. Today Karan and Dane were late. Tejasswi's eyes kept on searching him but couldn't. She wanted him to see her happy and feel jealous seeing her with some one else. During the break, Amy brought his friend Agastya....the trio explained him what he had to do. He and Teju had to react all lovey dovey in front of Karan. Amy excused himself to attend a call....he went out of the canteen and saw Karan approaching towards the canteen....he ran back and told Teju that karan is coming. They immediately started their drama company. Teju sat near Agastya and held his hand and interwined it with hers making sure that Karan could see them close.
Karan emters , and Tejasswi started saying to Sam,
" You know Sam...I am so happy that Agastya is here... Last night when he proposed to me...I was very angry at him...but now that I think I realize that he actually loves me. You know he came to my room last night...risking his life....then I decided to be with him. "
"Aww...you guys are so cute. No evil eyes on you both "

On the other hand, Karan enters and gets the shock of his life..  seeing Teju close to Agastya. He did want that ultimately but when this is happening in front of him... He is not liking it. He had the urge to just rip him apart and make him stay away from him but he cannot. He had no right to do so. He fisted his hand and just left from there. Teju saw him leave in anger. She hi fived with Agastya and Sam.
"Congratulations... plan is working"
"But Teju... Don't you think you are being too harsh at him?"
"Agastya, I know this is not right ..but I have to do something to get the truth out of his mouth. I want to know what's stopping him to be with me "
"Okay, but don't take this too far. As a guy, I am telling you ..we can't see the love of our life this close to another man. And I have no interest in getting my face blue black by Karan. "
All four started laughing at him. Karan turned back at them and saw them laughing and enjoying. He went out of the canteen in anger and joined the basketball court where Dane was already present. Dane saw him angry as hell. He asked him,
" Bro are you fine..what happened?"
" Just don't... leave me alone right now. "
" You know that's not possible....so come on spit it out "
" I saw her with someone else... I can't take this shit. "
" So that's good right....you wanted her to stay away from you....she is making your work easy. Let her be "
" I can't.....i can't let her be."
"But why? Do you want her to cry over you all the time...?"
" Bro I want her to be happy but not like this. Mai kya karu...nahi dekh pa rha mai use kisi ae ke itna kareeb. Takleef ho rahi h mujhe. "
" So then, don't let her go... Jo hoga sath mil ke ladna. You can't decide your fate keeping a third person in mind. "
" I don't know what to do. "
" Go and talk to her. Invite her for your b'day party. Spend more time with her. "
" You are right... I have to know why us doing all this"

Teju was walking on the corridor after the break. She had to do her rehearsals. When someone pulled her with great force inside a room and covered her mouth with hand so that she doesn't get to scream.
It was boys changing room. And the guy was none other than Karan. Teju closed her eyes and sighed a sigh of relief that it was Karan.
"I am sorry I had to pull you like this...kahi lagi to nahi na?"
Oh god he is so sweet... why God why? How am I going to see him get jealous...oh god please help me. Her eyes softened but she immediately got alert before he could notice.
"What is wrong with you....why did you bring me here?"
"Teju ..do you really want to be with Agastya?"
"That's none of your concern "
" You are right...I just wanted to know as a friend. "
"As a friend? Are you really my friend? No ..i dont think so ..(friends don't keep secrets from friends-she said this in her mind)"
"What did you say?"
"Huh...what...no... nothing ....just let me go"
Karan let her go. Tejasswi turned to go but Karan held her hand. Teju closed her eyes feeling his touch.
"Two days later, I have my b'day party at my home. Please be there Teju"
"I am sorry, I don't think I'll be able to...I have to go meet Agastya's parents. It's a family dinner. "
"I won't cut the cake Teju. I know you'll come. I will be waiting for you."
Teju didn't say anything and just left from there. It was as difficult for her as it was for Karan. Both were dying inside but were not ready to give up to their egos. Although Teju's actions were justified so were Karan's. Both wanted to be together but were not able to. This will lead them to where...only time will tell.
