She replied.... Hi, I'll be there.
She went and had her lunch and now she was thinking what to wear. She had some options but she wanted to look the best. But why? Honestly, she had no answer to it.

At 6.30 pm, Sam and Amy came there to pick Teju up. They left for the cafe. When they reached there, Karan and Dane were already waiting for them.
Sam- "Hi guyz" All- "Hello" Karan- "Come sit" Teju- "Wow such a cute cafe " Dane- "This is one of Dehradun's most happening place " Teju- "Oh nice " Amy- "Guyz let's order something...I am very hungry" Karan- "Yeah, let's go"
They ordered a lot of food- pizzas, burgers, soups, momos (obviously) and drinks.
They raised a toast (not of alcohol) for their selection in the college team. Sam clicked a lot of pictures. They spoke with each other for a while and now it was time for them to go back home. Sam and Amy said that they cannot drop Teju as they have to reach to their family party asap. Even Dane had to go urgently for some important work. Teju said she can manage so they left. Now it was just teju and karan.
Karan knew that Teju is new here and also a little scared of how is she going to manage. So he thought to drop her home but the problem was, he didn't have his car. He came with Dane and now he's gone. So he thought of booking a cab but all the cabs were cancelling due to somd issues. "If you don't mind, we can walk ... I'll drop you home first and then I'll go" "Umm.... it's not needed.... you'll have to walk in opposite direction. I can manage" Is ladki ki problem kya hai. "Karan, I thought you would bring your girlfriend also. " "She is not my girlfriend, anymore" "Ohh..I am so sorry, I didn't know" "No no it's completely fine. We were just together, I don't feel anything for her" "But the way she looked at me today when I was talking to you, I thought she really feels for you " "Yes, but it's more of friendship between us. We have always been together since childhood. So as we grew up we were always together . Our fathers are top businessmen of the city and also best of friends...that is where we met at the age of 4 and till now we are best of friends. In school Avika proposed me, and I said yes because I thought I love her. I mistook our friendship for love. But as I grew up, I realized I don't see her more than a friend you know. Teju stopped walking and froze at her place. Karan realized he asked a wrong question so he immediately apologized and he made her sit at a bench nearby. He asked her not to tell anything if she's not comfortable but teju stopped him midway and said "It's ok, I think I can't keep it forever in my heart. It's better to let it out. And I trust you with my secret. Back in school, there was this guy, popular, handsome and very very attractive. Amrit was the sports head of the school and he always persued me to be his girlfriend. One day, he proposed to me in front of his classmates and I couldn't stop myself from saying yes. Who would say no to such a dreamy proposal. I never showed it to him, but secretly, I admired him a lot. Everything was going good between us until the day of farewell party. I caught him cheating with my best friend. It was birthday you know. And both my boyfriend and best friend decided to give me this memorable gift on my birthday. I couldn't say anything to them. I just wanted to go home and be with my parents so I left early and at home I saw my parents, dicussing about hiw to break the news of their divorce to me. And boom....my world stopped right there. Everything snatched from me on that single day. I got two gifts on my b'day one my boyfriend and bestfriend cheating and second my parents' divorce. And then, they decided to move away with their spouses and I came here to live with my Nanu. " By this time Teju was in tears and crying badly. Karan couldn't help himself and had tears listening to what she's been through. He gave her his handkerchief for wiping her tears and said, "You don't have to think about it any more, think of this as a second chance to life. This is your second chance to be happy. Trust me, Dehradun will only give you good memories and good people in life. And I am always there for you if you ever need to share anything and trust me when I say this, your secret will be safe with me. " Teju just looked at him, with puppy eyes, she don't know, why she shared her past with him but she wanted to just let it out in front of him, so she did. It was some kind of connection she had with him, that persuaded her to share her baggage. She was ready to give life another chance, to give love another chance. That day, she definitely felt a liking towards Karan but there was a long way to go.
