Enigma

First Day

Karan reaches college. With lots of hope and passion for his career he chose the top college to excel in academics as he has always been a topper. He has always been the child who was on top in academics as well as sports. Basketball was his fortay.
He was happy to be a part of such a reputed college. He hoped for a smooth innings at his college but things were about to take a turn for him.

On the other hand, Teju reached college as well. She had no interest in joining the college as she was already broken inside and when your mental health is taking a toss there's nothing else that pleases you. But she was always a studious girl. She believed in hard work and determination. She was good at dance as well. Dancing was her passion. She knew she was a part of this reputed college because of her nanu. Her nanu was a trustee in the college and she had to live up to his expectations. After all that she had been through, he was the only family she had.
She thought of the college as her second chance to win at least in her career. But little did she know, that it was just the calm before the chaos.

Teju was a little nervous. She didn't know anybody there. So she was puzzled but bumped into someone. No it wasn't Karan. It was a girl.

"Ohh fuck... can't you see girl?"
"I am so sorry...actually
"Yeah yeah whatever...now help me get my things. "
" Yeah..."
She helps her pick her things up.
"Huh...thanks....
and she started to leave but stopped after a few steps.

"Are you by any chance new here? "
"Yeah..its my first day in college"
"Which department babe?"
"B.com first year"
"Wow...perfect...same here...haha what a coincidence. Hi, myself Samprada. Everyone here calls me Sam."
"Hi... Tejasswi. And everyone called me teju back in school."
"Come I'll show you the college. Vi kya hai na...meri maa yha pe professor h. So I know the school inside out."
"Ok..sure"
She was a bit happy to find atleast someone who was there with her. It felt like she was a gift of God to help her out at that moment.

"This is the main campus. That is the commerce department building. "
Teju was amazed to see such a lavish college. She always dreamt to be a part of a reputed college and today she is finally a part of it. Kudos.

"This is our auditorium and this is the playground...anddd ....also a lovers point darling"
"Whatt ...?
"Yeah all the hot boys dipped in sweat and scent...and girls roam here like a honeybee searching for their honeyyy...buzzz buzzz...and buzzzz around. You'll get to know. "
Teju was laughing her heart out hearing her statements.

"And this is the canteen. Enough for today. Let's have something and then we'll go for the lecture. "
" Sure..."
"Are you always this silent...ya waqt ne kiya koi haseen sitam?"
"No... it's just.... it's just my first day here so..."
"Ok cool nervous and all huh...but don't worry...you are with Sam now. Friends? "
"Okk...friends."
They had breakfast and left for the classes.

Karan on the other hand, was very happy to be in college along with his friends and his girlfriend Avika.
He met all his friends directly in the canteen. They were already waiting for Karan and Dane.
Avika-"Baby...You are so late...I missed you so much"
Karan-"yeah actually I got up late today...Vo kya h na...i was dreaming about you baby..."
Avika-" ohh my god, reallyyyy?"
Karan- " Yaa baby....really...!!"
Eevrybody to them,"get a room guyz"

Karan-"shut up..."
He whispered in Dane's ears,"Please save me brother"
Dane,"What will I get in return?"
Karan,"whatever you want...just please save me....enough of baby talks for today"
Dane,"At it brother"

Dane," Karan...we have to enroll ourself for the badminton team today itself. Let's go... we'll get late othersise "
Karan,"yeahhh... let's go.."
Avika," baby you came just now...plzz dont go"
Karan unwillingly replied
Karan," Aww, I have to...i mean I dont want to but I have to... I'll see you in break...okk byeee..."

"Thank you dude for saving me."
"Tell me one thing, if you don't love her...why don't you tell her "
"You know what happened last time I tried to breakup. She slit her wrist and everybody blamed me."
"But how long will you carry this...you clearly don't feel anything for her."
"Still we are childhood friends. I do care for her. Until and unless she gets someone who truly loves her. I can't leave her. I have to deal with it."

They went for the class after enrolling their names for Basketball team and today was their trials as well. Karan was ready to give his best. And moved for their lectures.

Teju entered the class sat with Sam and her cousin brother Amandeep(Amy). Sam introduce Amy to Teju and the trio vibed. Although teju was quiet the entire time, they cheered her up and even Teju liked their company. She was happy to have friends on the first day itself.

Karan entered the class and all the girls gawked at him. He was always used to this attention, so he didn't bother much and took his seat along with Dane. Avika also entered and wanted to share the seat with Karan but Dane already played smart and sat beside Amy, Teju and Sam.

So unwillingly she had to find a seat elsewhere.

Teju was already zoned out almost all the time. So she didn't pay attention to whatever was going on. Even Sam and Amy ignored Karan and the drama following him.

The professor enters,
Everybody stood up and greeted. He said ,
Good morning students,
I am Prof.Awasthi and I'll be teaching you Finance.
But today, it's your first day in college, so I want everybody to give their introduction. Let's break the ice guyz...

Everybody gave their introduction. But we'll focus on our sweet hearts 😉

Karan "Hello everyone, greeting to all...I am karan kundrra, born and brought up in Dehradun and I love basketball. Also I am very competitive and studious. "

Teja," Good morning, sir...My name is Tejasswi Prakash. I am new here. Birn and brought up in Mumbai...and now live here with my Nanu. Dance is my passion. I can't live without dance. It's the only thing I have left ofcourse after Nanu. "
Karan listened to her introduction but didn't react anything. She was just another girl for him. But the future holds so much mystery and drama he doesn't even know at this point.
