"Teju....tejuu...wake up....look at me....."
"Karan I think you should take her to the hospital...hurry up "said Dane.
Karan pick her up and drives towards the hospital. The doctor takes her in and checks her. Sometime later, the doctor comes out.

"Doctor how is she? What happened?"
"She is fine... nothing to worry about...just that she's been exhausted. Also there were minor injuries. I have treated them. You just need to give medicines on time and take care for some days. "
"Thank you...can I talk to her now?"
"Yeah you can go in...but she is still not awake. But you can wait. "
"Ok doctor"

Karan walks in the cabin to find Teju lying unconscious on the bed. Her hand and forehead were bruised. She looked pale. Her condition broke his heart. He felt helpless. He sat beside her on a tool kept over, took her hands in his and waited patiently for her to wake up. After some time, he could feel some movements. Teju was regaining consciousness. She opened her eyes slowly and said,
"Where am I ?"
"Teju...you are safe baby...you are with me...okk"
"Karann...!!"
"Yess yess tell me....is it hurting you?"
"Noo...he kidnapped me after my per... performance Karan. He said he has kidnapped you. "
"No I am alright see...I am here don't worry okk... nothing will happen to you now"
" He tied me to a chair and hit me... Where were you karan? " She started crying badly now.
"I am so sorry....I couldn't help you...I am sorry Teju. " Even Karan had tears in his eyes .
Teju looked at him and stopped crying.
"Its not your fault baby. You fought him for me. I saw it. Karan please take me home. Pleasee "
"Yes we'll go home soon... Let me talk to the doctors. "
Karan was about to go when Teju held his hand. He turned back hearing what she said,
"Where's mom? Please send her in. I want to talk to her. She saved my life today. "
"Teju... actually...abi tumhe aram karna chahiye...aunty milne aengi na tumse okk.."

"Police arrested her for killing James, your kidnapper "

Karan came out and called his father.

"Hi dad"

"Dad I brought her to the hospital. "

"What are you talking about?"
"Dad, Teju's mom, she is arrested by the police for killing her kidnapper, who turns out to be Teju's mom's fiance. I need you to bail her out. Please dad. We'll saw what happened there. Karan smiled and went to the doctor to discharge Teju. He got the discharge papers ready and in an hour, they left the hospital and drove towards home. Teju was still not perfectly fit. She was drowsy due to the antibiotics and injections. The entire way home, teju kept sleeping and karan kept driving and stealing glances at her time to time.

He was mentally affected by everything that happened in the last 24 hours. He was exhausted. But the girl sitting beside her, was the solution to all his problems. She was the peace in his life. Looking at her face, he forgot all his worries and exhaustion. He knew he had to protect her at all cost because she was his sanity in the chaos.
