Karan and Tejasswi started walking towards home. On their way, Teju was somehow walking by the main road side. Heavy trucks and cars were moving at high speed. A gypsy came at a high speed and was crossed by Teju. She got scared and Karan noticed it. He simply held her hand and swapped her side and now he was walking by the road. Teju kept quiet at this but blushed a little. She was in awe of him already. This care, this attention, she has always craved for but never got in the past.

Karan and Teju spoke all about their hobbies and a little bit about their previous life while going back home.
After a walk of 20minutes. Teju reached near her home. She said,
"That's my home."
"Oh, you have such a cute home."
"Yeah, my nanu and nani had lived here their entire life. Nani built this house into a home and now nanu looks after it as her only fond memory."
"I would love to meet your nanu someday."
"You would?"
"Yeah, why not... "
"Ok..sure"
"You can come in if you want....have some tea or coffee...or maybe some...."
"Teju.. relax I think I'll get going, its already late and tomorrow we have college. But I'll show up to meet nanu super soon"
"Okk ...sure ...bye"
"Bye gn"
Teju walked few steps and halted...she said
"Karan, thanks for today, I enjoyed after a very long time. "
"Pleasures all mine"
She smiled and waved him a bye...and went inside. Karan was standing across the path waiting for her to get inside. Teju was liking the way Karan was caring for her and giving her attention.
She closed the door and leaned against it and smiled a little. She went to her room and saw a message from Sam.

Hey babe...so so so sorry. I didn't want to leave you there alone. It was really urgent.
Did you come back?
Where are you ..call me as soon as you step inside your house...!!

She called Sam. She picked up at once

"Hello, ooh my God ..are you safe....I called you so many times, it was unreachable. "
"Sam ...relax. I am safe and sound breath a little. "
"Ohhh....thank God. I was feeling so guilty for not dropping you home. How did you manage?"
"All thanks to Karan. He dropped me home. Actually we walked back home"
"Oooohhh....how romantic awwww"
"Shut up, there wasn't anything romantic about it"
"Too bad, you missed a golden opportunity"
"Kuch bhi... He's just a friend"
"Pyar dosti hai...dialogue suna to hoga"
"Kya bol rhi h Sam....we just had a nice talk....we shared about our past..."
"Hold on you shared about your past to him....you just know him for a few hours..."
"Yeah..but it felt like knowing him for a while. Sam...I am ready to share it with you too. I can't keep so much burden to myself. "
She narrated her whole past.
"What a fucking bastard he is. God forbid, they shouldn't be infront of me, I'll break their jaws. I am very good at breaking bones."
"It doesn't matter to me anymore, I guess. I have moved on. I don't even intend to get back to my previous life. I am very happy to be here...to have found friends like you and Amy and Karan. You people are my family now."
"Bas kar pagli rulaegi kya"
"Okk...then... let's go n sleep... we'll meet tomorrow."
"Ok babe..gave sweet dreams of your prince charming the Karan Kundrra ...okkk byeee"
She immediately cuts the call. Teju wanted to defend but couldn't....she just let a smile out of her mouth. And slept reminiscing about the good moments she shared with Karan today.

The next morning, in college.
Karan and Dane were practicing basketball. Karan was shirtless. It was very early and not a lot of students were there in school. Teju reached early to practice for dance. She was crossing the basketball court when she laid her eyes on Karan and froze midway. She couldn't move forward. Her eyes were stuck on him. How could someone be so hot and chiseled. How could someone look so fresh while sweating. All these thoughts clouded her mind when she heard someone calling out her name. She broke out of her reverie and saw it was Karan shirtless only in his sports boxers.
"Teju...are you there...helloo"
"Huh...haa yeah...yeah...what?"
"Are you okay...what happened to you"
"Yeah I am fine....I am getting late byee..."
Embarassed, she ran away from the place. Karan was confused at her behaviour but let it go. Teju ran and stopped at her dance rehearsal room itself. She sat there panting, and said to herself,
"What the hell was that teju...you frize there and you were eyeing a man like an obsessed freak. No no i am not obsessed. It was just...just...it was ....he looked  hot...so hot...i couldn't resist....urghhh shut up....shut gese thoughts out of your mind .... he's your friend.... that's it ....he won't even look at you in this manner....."

She stood up and started to practice. She turned the music on .... Song playing (Malang-dhoom3)

She was trying some new steps and was constantly failing at it. That frustrated her. She sat down and pulled her hair in anger. Karan saw her from outside. He knocked at the door and entered. Teju looked up and stands at her place.

"Is everything alright?"
"Yeah...why?"
"No..I just saw you frustrated"
"Yeah it's just a step, I can't do it properly."
"Bs itni si baat. Accha tell me did you eat something?"
"Umm..no...I was getting late so..."
"Perfect....I cracked it... let's go have some chae and poha. Yaha ke canteen ka sabse famous combo. "
"Ookk.."

They went to the canteen and karan ordered them kadak chae and poha.
Teju took the first bite and it was yummm...
"Good... isn't it?"
"Yess... it's so good"
"Told you"
"I am gonna gave it daily now."
"Hahah....sure. Now let's come back to your little problem. Listen to me ok... see I know, I have no idea about dance but I am a basketball player. Techniques matter in our sport so does in yours. Just remember the technique...have faith in yourself...and just do it without any fear."
"Thank you for distracting my mind for a bit for good"
"Madam ..ab chale..?"
"Kaha "
"Dance practice karne...."
"Haha...ok"

They cane back to the dance room. Teju again played the song and danced on the entire song including the tough part which she was failing at for so long. But this time, she did it....yesss....she did it and she was very happy. Karan whistled and clapped for her. Teju ran towards him and hugged him. But Karan didn't. It wasn't like he didn't want to but he was so taken aback by this sudden gesture, he didn't know how to react. Teju understood what she did and she stepped back immediately and said sorry to him. They excused themselves and went to their classes for lectures.
