(Mia's pov)

After reading those files, I am appalled. Charlotte has been through so much, no wonder I found her crying yesterday. I have never felt this amount of sympathy before, although I may have a bad past, the new girls was severely worse.

(Charlottes pov)

My mind feels like a museum as I keep getting horrific flashbacks from my past, they're almost like warnings that something bad will happen soon. After everything I've been through, the last think I need are constant reminders which take me back to feeling like I did when I was nothing but an innocent, vulnerable child. I think it's finally time to open up about what has happened to me that was so traumatic. Since I have no friends and no one to tell, I guess I'll write it here..

Before I was born, my parents had already decided that I would be nothing more than a puppet to them, being forced to help them with their dirty work from the moment I was born. Growing up was difficult and painful, no matter what I did my parents would scream at me, declaring it was the wrong decision. It makes everything harder to my current self as I have a photographic memory..
I relive every moment.

My parents were psychopaths, murdering any soul who even came near them. Miserably, they raised me in an attempt to make me just like them but I never thought it was right. After years and years of being pushed around and used my my own relatives, they decided I wasn't good enough. All I was to them, was a terrible representation of their business which they hoped would eventually be passed down to me. Their job was to manage a large company of serial killers, one of their main workers was called 'Roger Knight'.

They had enough of me.
One day, I woke up lying in an empty factory, with my hands tied together and my feet nailed down to the floor. All of a sudden, my father began sprinting towards me, while my mother pinned me down. A recognisable man rushed to my side and held a butchers knife to my throat while yelling,

"Say goodbye to your life, Victoria!"

He suddenly burst out in a well-known cackle and realisation immediately wiped over me - it was Roger about to commit murder. It was this moment that prepared me to recognise his laugh when he was about to kill Mia.

Just as his hand reached over my face to get to my neck, I roughly bit his hand with all my force which caused him to squeal and jump away. The sharp knife grazed across my cheek but honestly, I didn't care. When Roger leaped away, so did my mother, in an an attempt to make sure he was okay and fine to go on with the murdering. Struggling, I just managed to untie the ropes which linked my hands and then punched my father square in the nose. While everyone else was caring to their own needs, they forgot I was still laying there. Rapidly, I picked out the nails from my feet and just as I gazed to my right, I noticed the bloody butchers knife had been left on the ground where they had carelessly discarded it. Without even thinking, I picked it up then limped my way over to my parents and inserted the sharp weapon into both of their stomachs before twisting my body around to Roger. Just as I was about to stab him in the neck, he began to sprint away. The only reasonable answer on what to do at this moment in my mind was chuck the knife in his direction.

The weapon got stuck in his arm and dark red blood oozed out while he waddled his way out of the factory. To be fair, I didn't even attempt to block him off from exiting as I knew it would just make the situation worse. Tears streamed down my already sodden cheeks like a waterfall as I looked down at my parents lifeless bodies. With my voice hoarse from crying I whispered,
"Goodbye forever.."
After that moment, I escaped that town and never looked back. In fear of being found by any of my parents co-workers from when they were still alive, I changed my name, appearance and identity. Luckily, I found my aunt who lives at the other side of the country and she told me I could live with her.

(mia's pov)

Charlottes history is.. terrifying.

I must talk to her, I need to know her perspective from everything.

Before I can make any sudden moves, I've decided to go on a walk in the forest to clear my head.
