(Charlotte's pov)

As Mia stepped away to attack my mother, I lost my balance since I was resting on her tall figure. My body was spinning around and I felt extremely dizzy, I felt too embarrassed to ask Mia for help and even when I tried, no words would come out. This seemed more than the average panic attack.

My body was shaking wildly and my head was pounding like a drum. All of a sudden I felt myself fall onto the ground. My head harshly hit of the pavement, but not too hard that I was completely injured. Gradually, all of my surroundings faded to darkness and the last thing I heard was Mia screaming,
"CHARLOTTE, OH MY GOD!"

(Mia's pov)

My fighting skills had definitely improved since last time I was in a battle. Maybe it was my abilities or maybe it was just the person I was duelling with. After every kick, she seemed to get closer and closer to the ground. Eventually, she was huddled in a ball on the ground while I was towering over her, cackling villainously. She didn't seem severely injured, which was a disappointment, but she did seem to be in pain so it was definitely worth attacking her.

I watched as a devilish look overcame her face and she pounced onto my legs. I squealed out,
"WHAT THE HELL." The feeling of the unusual contact towards my legs made me shiver but also hold in my laughter. Jumping onto someone's legs isn't the most effective way of fighting.

I clenched my fist shut then uppercutted her. She then lay on the ground with blood pouring out of her nose.
"Oops." I stated, sarcastically.
I stood still gazing at her, for around two minutes until I saw as she began to stir and stretch her body out. I rolled my eyes at her simple movements before leaning over to hit her again but before I got the chance, I heard a large thud come from behind me.

Dramatically, I spun around and immediately went into action. Charlotte was lying on the ground, in a pool of her own tears. Her eyes suddenly slammed shut at the same moment as I screamed,
"CHARLOTTE, OH MY GOD!"
My breathing became rapid as I stroked her hair and whispered sweet nothings into her ear, praying that it would somehow calm her down since her body was still shaking wildly.
"She's such an attention seeker." Her mother groaned before she looked as if a light bulb had sparked inside of her.
