(Mia's pov)The day was coming to an end and I still couldn't find Charlotte. Her Snapchat location was on but it was constantly moving around and basically impossible to track. She'd managed to make it all the way to Cornwall, which is about a six hour walk from our neighbourhood. I eventually made my way there after taking a train, although that was the most impatient and stressed out I'd ever been. All on my own, in a confined space, while I know there is a murder out there looking for me. On the positive side, I hadn't heard from Roger since he broke into my room and nearly killed me, again. I almost immediately pushed that old man out of my head and gave all my focus to Char, which is easy as she is the most unforgettable person I've ever known. It's almost like she was sitting next to me, I could picture her deep blue eyes staring into mine, oh how much I miss her. When I finally lay my eyes on her, I have some serious explaining to do.
I just hope my poor baby is okay. After I got off the train, I rapidly ran to where her Snapchat currently was, and a grin spread widely across my face as I realised she had finally stayed still. It took a while to stroll over to the correct area but just as I was around the corner from Char's location, I felt a hand pull me to the side and something covered my eyes. Suddenly, my eyes flickered shut and I was unconscious.
I regained my consciousness after hearing a recognisable voice from the near distance, yelling. It way high pitched, sweet yet mischievous and mainly I was in love with it. Charlotte had came to my rescue.
My body felt too weak to move as I felt sharp pains spread across my body.(Charlotte's pov)
I was sitting on a park bench, watching as the innocent children ran around and played with the ducks.
Oh what I would do to of experienced a joyful childhood like that.
I felt a sudden urge to walk around the corner into this alleyway as I heard a subtle scream. I recognised the croaky voice and as I wandered closer, I realised who it was. No matter what she had done to me, she didn't deserve to die. I was still majorly in love with her, but I understood that she didn't feel the same way, no matter how much it broke my heart, I had to accept the reality of our relationship.
I saw a tall, muscular man wearing a ski mask and throwing this red-headed girl off of walls while stomping on her aggressively. Immediately, I sprinted down to where he was and punched him in the nose.
Just as his leg lifted up to kick me, I grabbed it and pulled it backwards, resulting with him flipping over and landing painfully on the ground. Before I could make my next move, he swerved his hands out and pulled down my legs. I hit my head roughly off the cold, hard floor. My vision was becoming blurry.
My eyes opened wider but no matter how much I rubbed them, the only thing that would heal my eyesight would be time. And in this moment, that was something I didn't have a lot of. I saw three of the masked man and as I went to reach for him, all I felt was air, I missed him.
Would this be both of our ends?
It can't be.. right?
