(Charlotte's pov)

I wake up after a restless sleep, feeling like I've been ran over. When in reality, something much worse has happened to me. A sudden urge to look to my side appeared so as I gazed over, I realised my girlfriend was staring at me, in awe.
"Mia.." It hurt to speak.
No reply.
"Sweetheart?"
No reply.
"Amelia.?"
"Oh sorry baby, I didn't hear you talking!" She spoke after zoning out, looking at me.
"How are you feeling?" Mia asked me caringly.
I just shook my head since I was struggling to get my words out.
"Do you want to eat something? You'll feel much better if you do." The red-head requested.
I nod my head as a response before attempting to sit myself up slightly.
"I'll be right back, princess." She whispered before leaving the room.

After she left, I felt a sudden emptiness and loss. This feeling lead to much more severe pains and discomfort. Then all of a sudden, all sorts of machines around me were beeping wildly. The blaring sound was going directly into my ear that loud, to the point I couldn't hear anymore.
Everything then went black.
Pure darkness was all I was able to see.
It was over.
My life was over.

(Doctors pov)

My patient, Charlotte, was suffering from a severe stabbing in her arm, causing blood loss and one step closer to being dead. We did everything we could to recuse her but just as she was beginning to heal, she passed away in her hospital bed.

Myself and a team of other doctors rushed into her room, only to see her lying in a pool of her own blood and tears. I checked her heart rate and realised there wasn't a beat there anymore. As paramedics stormed in the room, I left to pass on the news to her partner. After searching across the building, I found Amelia in the cafeteria, grabbing small pieces of food.

"Hello, Amelia." I frowned sympathetically towards her.
"Hi doctor, is everything alright?" The teenager asked me, politely.
"I'm afraid not. You may want to sit down for this news." I formally stated.
"Why..? I'm okay standing." The red-head questioned.
"I would recommend taking a seat." I gestured over to one of our plastic chairs.
Slowly, she strolled over and sat down. I gazed over her as she shook nervously and her eyes were glossy as if she were about to cry.
"I'm very sorry to inform you but.." I began, "Charlotte has infact, passed away."
The young girl began to weep in front of me and I couldn't help but feel a large amount of sadness for her.
"I apologise." I ended the conversation, leaving her alone as I thought that would be what she would need in that moment.

(Mia's pov)

I can't control my weeps. My breath is shortening. My mind is racing.
My beautiful girlfriend, how could've she died? The most elegant creature to of ever roamed earth has now.. passed away? And the way the doctor didn't even supply me with any comfort. How am I supposed to live knowing I have this emptiness in my heart. I declare that I need to see her one last time, this can't be goodbye. What if I commit suicide, than atleast we'd be together? I can not allow her to be dead, I just can't.
My head is suddenly hurting and it feels as if the room as spinning. The walls look as if they're closing in on me. Is this what it will be like forever without Charlotte?
I can't believe she's dead.
She still had so much left to live.
She isn't dead.
She can't be.
She can not be dead.
Charlotte is not dead.
CHARLOTTE CAN NEVER DIE!
