(Charlotte's pov)I was paralysed to the spot. I couldn't move.
Mia's hands flew up in the air, as a sign that she was surrendering. Gradually, she moved one of her hands to cover my eyes.
"You should have to see this." My girlfriend muttered under her breath, but still loud enough so I could hear.
Now all I could see was pure darkness, I preferred it that way.
Mia's hand was cold and shaken as it rested on my head, blocking my eyesight."Please. If you have to kill someone, kill me!" Mia cried out, in a form of protecting me from my evil mother and my worst enemy.
Deliah was still charging towards us with a knife, I heard her feet pounding off of the ground aggressively.
"Stop." My mother declared to the girl with the pigtails.
The next thing I knew, Deliah stopped sprinting and Mia's hand was being dragged from my eyes while my mother pulled the red-head into her gun. Her knuckles went white off of how he'd she was gripping onto Mia aswell as the gun.
"Come here Charlotte, or your poor little girlfriend dies." My parent smirked mischievously before aiming the gun to Mia's chest."NO!" My red-head screamed.
"Charlotte stay there! You can not die, please stay there!" She shouted even louder. No words anyone could say to me right now would stop me from saving Mia.
I took one step closer.
"NO! IM SORRY!" Mia screamed before tears started pouring down, resulting in her pale cheeks being sodden.
"I can not just allow you to die." Mia whispered in-between weeps.I couldn't listen to her, no matter how much it hurt to see her in this state, if she were to die, so would I.
I took one step closer.
(Mia's pov)
I sobbed louder and louder, while trying to pry this evil woman's hand off of me.
"Keep coming closer." Char's mother manipulatively spoke.
Charlotte strolled closer."Please stop!" I begged her, but it was no use.
I began praying that this was all just a terrible nightmare, but every time I closed my eyes I realised that it wasn't.
Charlotte then took that final step closer.
"I love you, I'm sorry."
Charlotte spoke, emotionlessly.
