(Marjorie's pov)

"Reece!!" I yell to which he finally wakes up, removing the arm from over the top of me.
"What?" he questions, slowly sitting up to look down at me.
"I need to get up to go to work, but your arm was like dead weight against my chest." I tell him, sitting up on the edge of the bed.
"No" Is all I hear from behind me, before I am pulled back, letting out a squeal, and now laying with my back against Reece's chest, as his arms hold my body tight, not letting me move.
"Reece, for gods sake. I have to go to work. You may not but I do." I try and wrangle out of his grasp, but it's impossible. I lay back against him and let out a defeated sigh.
"That's better, now you aren't moving about. It was getting a touch uncomfortable." he says, letting out a small laugh.
I take advantage of his guard being down, and manage to break free, quickly running to the bathroom, shutting and locking the door behind me.

"Gorgeous!!!" I hear him yell through the door, as he tries to open it, fiddling with the handle.
"Reece I am taking a shower. I have to go to work. I will see you when I'm out." I say sternly.
"Ugh fine." I hear him huff and then storm back to the bed. I let out a giggle at the thought, my husband throwing a tantrum all because I have to work.
"Less laughing, more showering." I hear him grumble and I shake my head, this man. I climb in the shower and start washing my hair.

I turn the handle to step out the bathroom, when I hear Reece run up to the door, turning the handle himself, and pulling me in for a hug, before I even have time to register.
"Reece?" I question.
"I missed you. I want you to stay. Please."
"Baby I can't stay. I have to go to work, Autumn isn't in. The only reason you have today off is because Delilah booked it for you, you haven't had a day off in forever. It's for you to take some me time, relax, with no stress." I explain, as he lets go of me and I walk to my wardrobe, picking out my outfit for the day, and changing into it.
"But I don't want it, I want to be with you." He pouts, and I giggle as I turn around, finding him sat on the edge of the bed, a tear rolling down his cheek.

"Oh baby." I walk over to him and sit in his lap, wiping the tear away and kissing where it just was. "I guess you can come with me, that way you won't be working, as you aren't at your nursery, but you'll be with me still." He picks me up and spins me around, whilst I'm squealing.
"Reece! Put me down!" I yell, to which he immediately does, and his hands stay on my waist, as mine snake their way around his neck. "It won't be an easy relaxing day though. There will be parents complaining, I will have to do paperwork and emails, it won't be like a day at home." I explain to him and he just grins.
"I'll be with you though. I don't want to be away from you." he says, leaning down and kissing me.
"Okay, okay. Get dressed, I have to go." I say, and not even getting to the end before he runs off to get clothes.

We arrive at work, and I go to exit the car when Reece pulls me back in. He runs out the car, and to my door, opening it and picking me up, as my body wraps around his.
"Reece I can walk." I object but he isn't having any of it.
"Nope, I want to be as close to you as physically possible." He replied sternly, walking into my office and placing me down, yet not letting go of my waist.
"Reece, I told you, I need to do work. Behave." I say, poking at his chest playfully.
"Okay, let's go sit." he replies and before I know it, he has dragged me over to my chair, him sitting down first and then pulling me onto his lap, as his arms rest around my stomach.
"Darling? Am I not too heavy for you?" I question and it earns me a playful slap on my legs.
"Don't talk about my wife that way!" He mumbles into my back.
"Okay, okay. Let me get started on work now." I say and he nods, leaning back in the chair, falling asleep shortly after.

I'm 15 minutes away from lunch, and not a single complaint. Reece is still asleep, thankfully, which has meant I have actually been able to do my work, so now it's finished.
I lean back into Reece, gently, and manoeuvre myself slowly so I'm cuddled up into him, with my head resting against his shoulder.
Just as I close my eyes, a parent walks through the door. Great.
I sit up and face them, just in time to catch the look on their face.
