Draco threw up. He had never felt more pressure placed on him in his entire life. Deceiving Voldemort to save Hermione had been the most difficult thing he had ever done, but this would be harder. He didn't know where to start. He hadn't risked replaying everything in his mind to Hermione, it was too important. He was dreading what came next. He needed to talk to Hermione and Snape. Holy shit, Malfoy didn't even process Voldemort's casual conversation about killing Snape. He threw up again. Okay, time to get to work.

Hermione? 9-1-1 as the Muggles say. It's not a joke.

What's wrong?

War-changing info. Need to meet ASAP.

Okay, Weasley's house?

No, my movement is being tracked. Department of Mysteries? I'll explain why later. Can you get there safely?

Yes.

1 hour.

1 hour later Draco looked down at his watch. Broken prophecies lay everywhere. At least he knew it wasn't lost. He tapped his foot. Where was she? Suddenly the sound of crunching glass caught his attention.

"Invisibility cloak? Nicely done Granger."

She removed the cloak and he watched as her figure suddenly appeared where it wasn't just a moment before.

"You know I really hate that thing. After the incidient in Hogsmeade I'm afraid I've lost all my dignity."

She quietly chucked, "Well you were being a proper ass."

"I know. I'm sorry."

Why are you nervous Malfoy? I can feel it under my skin and in my chest. It's bad.

"Yeah. It is bad. I don't know how to tell you, so once again, I'm going to show you."

He drew back the entire conversation with Voldemort and felt her fire change and grapple as she was reacting to it inside his head. He felt her shock.

They were silent for several minutes. He knew she was thinking, but he decided to stay out of her thoughts. After a while he just said, "Told you."

"We need to stop this. What's your plan? You know he's going to kill Snape? We need to figure out the prophecy."

"Yes I know that's his plan and yes I do. There's no we. You need to do whatever Potter and Weasley want you to do in order to prepare for our invasion. Snape and I think it is going to be at Hogwarts, symbolically."

That's what Dumbledore predicted too, before he died.

Before we killed him you mean.

No, that's not what I mean.

Draco ignored it.

"Don't say there's no we. Plus they've got me hiding out moving from safe house to safe house. It's too dangerous to stay at the Weasley's. I'm working on nothing to aid the war and I feel utterly useless. I'm trying to read, trying to find something that might help us, but so far nothing. This is something. I'm going to work on it whether you like it or not, so we might as well work on it together. We can start now."

You're a stubborn woman. Fine. This is critical, but I don't think you should tell Harry, or anyone else for that matter. I'm sorry to put this all on you, but there's nothing he can do to stop it. He needs to focus on the remaining Horcruxes and preparing for battle, this is our part.
