I was walking with Sara towards the Operation rooms. No. I don't have surgery posting. Rather OBG. I wish ek his semester mei do do bar surgery posting hoti. Par thik hai. Koi nahi. I do get glimpses of my Kartik, during the OBG OT posting, since the OT's are nearby. (I wish we could have two Surgery postings in a single semester. But it's okay. No worries. )
Well, me and Kartik. Our relationship is just blooming with time. I love him. As simple and yet deep as that.
Par one thing is there, though I am not complaining. But we get little time together. I understand, his work is demanding and I too have to focus of studies and stuff. But.. When I see other couples around, spending time, specially in the libraries. I too feel that I want the same. And nevertheless, I can spend literally every second with my Kartik.
Though Kartik always looks to it that he is there for me. I love him for that. More. He, even in the most hectic schedules makes some time to the least, for me.
I was walking to the OT, adorned in the scrub, when I saw him pass. He was with a SR. Damn. My man looks so handsome in the green scrubs. He was probably explaining about a patient's condition, uske haav-bhav dekh ke yehi laga. ( Looking at his actions, I could make out.)
Just at the moment that he passed in front of me, he looked at me and winked. And I blushed hard.
Sara too saw it, as she nudged me over my shoulder singing a random love song making me blush more.
We walked inside the OBG OT.
A cesarian section was just done. The baby was in the sister's hold who was cleaning the little one.
How amazing is it naah? To witness new life entering into this world.
The little one cried as the sister patted his back. The baby's first cry.
Just than the SR from OBG turned to us as she said, " Arey, tum log? Konsa year? " "Second! ", all of us answered in unison. " Ooh okay! We are just done with the cesarian. Aur abhi toh aur koi C Section ke liye nahi hai. Haina sister? ", the doctor asked the nurse. The nurse noded in affirmation. " Toh tum log kya hi karoge ab yaha? ", she was saying just then someone entered in, taking her attention.
(Arey, You guys? Which year?) (And now we don't have any other case for C section. Right sister? ) ( So what you guys will do here?)
It was a SR from the Surgery department, Dr. Riyaaz.
They both had a talk.
After they were done, the OBG wali SR, looked at us, but again turned to Dr. Rizwaan and talked about something, probably about us.
As she was done she informed us, " Since we have nothing to show you'll in the OBG OT, you guys go into the Surgery OT, they'll be having some case going on. See that. Dr. Riyaaz himself will take your attendance, then you'll can leave. "
