Radio's Angel (Alastor x Emily)

I leave Al but wander around a bit trying to think of some way to help Al with his rut. Eventually I head to my meeting with Charlie.

Charlie said she wanted to talk to me about some exciting news, but I didn't want to leave Al now that I knew our time together just lessened.

As I enter the office I realize that Charlie isn't the only one there. Sitting in two of the three chairs in front of her desk is Angel and one of his coworkers.

"Hi Em! Glad you could make it!"

"Hi Charlie. What are Angel and..."

"Ruby."

"Ruby, thank you, doing here?"

Angel sighs, "I'm going to give your sessions a shot okay? Husk wouldn't stop pestering me about it. Ruby heard about it and decided to try one out too."

Ruby nods, "I have trouble getting close to people except when...well, on camera. I want to try to work on that."

I have actual patients now! Finally! I'll have to remember to thank Husk later for talking Angel into this.

"I'm so happy you both feel like you can come to me for help!"

Angel shrugs while Ruby chuckles nervously.

Charlie claps her hands, "So when do you think you could set up their appointments?"

I remember how Alastor had something planned tonight.

"I could do them tomorrow."

"That works for me."

Ruby nods with a smile.

As I left the room I really wanted to tell Al the good news.

When I walked back to the lobby he was already gone.

Husk saw me looking and guessed why, "He's doing a broadcast right now. He might be a while, his 'situation' makes him a bit more irritable and sadistic."

I see what he's getting at and nod.

I don't really know how I feel about his broadcasts. Knowing Al and the types of people he normally makes those kinds of deals with, they probably weren't the best of people. Still though, it seems extreme. I really wish he would agree to a session too, but I should probably wait till after his rut is over.

I head to my office that I was given for my job as the therapist. It has mostly sat empty since no one ever came for an appointment before.

I should probably tidy it up some before tomorrow. I am going to do my best to help them! I can finally do something for the hotel!

I get to work with dusting and sweeping, then some air fresheners to make sure the place smells amazing! I make sure the chairs are nicely arranged and clean. I grab a few pillows for them incase they need something to hold onto to keep them calm.

"It's all coming together perfectly! I can't wait for Al to see this!"

It had already been almost two hours since I started cleaning and decorating my office. I decide to head out and see if Al is back from his tower yet.

As I exit my office I end up running straight into someone and start to fall backwards.

"Sorry-Oh!"

A arm catches me from my fall and I look up to see Al smiling at me.

"I didn't mean to startle you like that. I should be the one to apologize."

I just look up at him.

He's holding me...do I get up? I don't really want to.
