Finding out that my father was somehow still alive was the worst news I had heard in my whole afterlife! I waited until Emily was fully asleep before I let the tears fall. I wasn't even sad, just afraid. I thought I had gotten over it all, I even killed him twice! Yet he's back, and I don't know what to do.

Eventually I find myself finally falling asleep too. I find myself in a dream. I'm in my old house from when I moved out after my mothers death. It was a small cabin on the outskirts of town. Some of my victims were only halfway taken care of for butchering.

Then I heard a noise. I listened closely and realized it was someone crying. I head to my door but realize the sound is coming from inside my house. I turn towards a small chest that I usually left empty in case I ever had to hide something quickly. As I got closer to it the sound became louder and more clear.

I Don't remember anything like this happening in my life. Why is it happening in this dream?

I reach for the lid of the chest and try to open it but it's stuck. I try again with both hands but it still won't open as the sobbing became louder and louder.

"Why won't it open?! Nothing should have it stuck!"

I then went to grab one of the butcher cleavers to try to pry it open. I blade began to bend before shattering. I grab another but the result is the same. Then the crying stops suddenly, and an eerie quiet settles in the cabin.

I'm startled by a knock on the door. I head over to open it but find no one there. Before I can close the door I catch sight of someone running through the woods by my cabin. I only catch sight of them for a second but they seem strangely familiar. I rush out the door and into the woods without bothering to think about what I was doing.

I had lost sight of whoever it was as the sun set and the night sky grew black, but I could still hear them running somewhere ahead of me. I followed the sound all the way through the woods until they started to look familiar. A uneasy feeling crept over me as I continued to chase after the steps of the stranger.

Suddenly I entered a small clearing. As I looked around I realized why the woods had felt so familiar, I was home. The old house had been rotting away all this time ever since mother had passed. I listen for the one I was chasing after but I can't hear them running anymore. That's when I hear a crash from inside the house.

"Are they living in such a broken and rotting place? How foolish even for a poor man."

I approach my old home and walk inside. Everything was dark, broken glass from beer bottles littered the floor. I looked around and saw a light coming from my old room along with a sound. I walked down the hall and heard the crying again. When I made it to my room and looked inside I was shocked by what I saw.

Laying on the floor crying was me. I was trembling and frightened. I reached towards myself, but then the dream faded and I woke up to Emily shaking me.

"Al? Are you okay? You were shaking."

"I'm fine, just a strange dream is all. What about you? You seem rather frightened."

"I guess you could say the same for me. I had a dream where Sera was making a deal with someone. She seemed scared by them almost, and they said they would keep someone in line for her whenever she needed."

The head seraphim making a deal with someone beneath her? That is quite interesting. Who could be able to keep someone in line that even she couldn't? Perhaps they were referring to his majesty and his family.

We were interrupted from our thoughts when someone knocked on our door.

"Charlie wants to hold a meeting downstairs, so hurry up."
