Radio's Angel (Alastor x Emily)

Alastor

"A what now?"

"Your sister."

"..."

"You still in there?"

"..."

"I HAVE A SISTER NOW?!?"

They both jumped but I was too busy trying to understand what had just been said. She was Micah's daughter. My mother is dating Micah and seems to be intending on marrying him. Therefor his daughter would indeed be my sister.

"Who would have thought. I'm going to have a sister-How old is she?"

"I think about 19 when she died but now about 54 in total years?"

"I have a little sister."

Emily eyes my suspiciously.

"What?"

"Don't even think about teaching her to be an overlord."

Damnit. How did she know?

"I wasn't going to do that."

"Sure."

We make our way downstairs to join the others for breakfast. Charlie still seemed quite energetic from the news earlier. Pentious was still a nervous wreck as Cherri tried to keep him calm as best she could. Vaggie looks exhausted, probably because she had been taking the defenses more seriously and consistently than anyone else. Except for me of course, no one else is going to be outdoing me at protecting Emily.

Sera turns to me and Emily after we had all finished our meals.

"I must say that I am surprised that you two aren't more angered by me pushing back your wedding date."

"We can't help it that Everyone has decided to make our lives a battlefield. I would hate to have our special day ruined by a attack, so we'll wait until we know there will be no interruptions."

Emily nods in agreement, unfortunately it's not like we can do the same thing about her being pregnant. The rest of the morning goes by as normal. Ven stopped by at some point to hand over some advanced recon drones over to Prntious for him to study and modify as he saw fit. Charlie was doing some lessons on table manners for some pf the guests after the others had complained about the messes they always left behind.

At around lunchtime Sera got everyone's attention to clear a space for where Mother and the others were about to portal through. After everyone had cleared a space she opened the portal to Heaven. The first through is my mother who looks around first to make sure they're in the right place before she walks out followed by two men and another woman.

My mother made her way up to me and Emily and hugged us both tightly before breaking away.

"Good to see you two again! I brought some food for you since I figured the stuff down here probably isn't the best around."

As she starts to dig around her bags she stopped by one of the men who was laughing. 

"Take it easy Laura, we only just got here. We will have plenty of time to deal with the small stuff later." She nods and set the bags back down before turning back to me.

"I guess it's high time you two finally met. Alastor, this is Micah. Micah, Alastor."

Micah holds out his hand to shake.

"Wonderful to meet you. Laura talks about you all the time."

"A pleasure to meet you two, lets see if it stays that way."

My mother looks at me cautiously, "Al."

Micah chuckles, "It's alright Laura, I wouldn't have said it better myself had I been in his shoes."
