Al froze when the jester called out to him. We turned around slowly and saw that we had grabbed the whole club's attention.

"Whatever you are berating those two about has nothing to do with us, so I would appreciate it if you would leave us be."

Al was trying to take control of the situation, but he had no authority here, or at least no real authority. The group was silent for a second before the jester laughed.

"You really think we would just let such an interesting pair leave without a proper goodbye?"

His limbs stretched as he bounced his way over to us and put his mechanic arms around us.

"Unlike those two, you seem to make a much more lovely pair. What do you think Ozzie?"

He turns his attention to Asmodeus who gave us a smile.

"They really are quite cute together, but I don't remember this Goetia. What's your name?"

I looked at Al and could tell his mind was racing to find a viable name that could work.

"I'm Hantos. It's truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance, but I fear we must go now."

Al tried to get us free of the jester's grasp but he showed no sign of letting us go. We turned back to see that the other Goetia was now eyeing Al very curiously, and his imp date seemed to also be confused by what was going on. He quietly got up and managed to leave without being noticed by anyone other than the Goetia, who seemed sad that he had gone.

"Hantos? Can't say I've heard that name before. Are you perhaps a bastard child from somewhere? I suppose you can't answer that if it's true. Well, why don't you show Stolas and Blitz-Huh?"

He just realized that the imp had vanished. The jester seemed particularly upset at his disappearance.

"So he shows up and leaves his date in our club. I knew he was heartless but fuck is that cold."

The Goetia seemed to sink lower and lower at every word. I couldn't just let this go on.

"Can't you just stop and leave them alone?! They have done nothing wrong to you since they got here and all you have done is torment and mock them! You make fun of royalty dating an imp, and yet here you two are!"

They both go a little red and quiet for a moment before regaining composure.

"We are not an item! It's uh strictly business!"

Maybe he could fool the others but I could tell that they had something far more than just business partners between them.

"Do you forget that you are talking to an angel? A seraphim at that. I can see the truth in your lies."

Well not really, but I know you're lying and I can see the truth so close enough. Plus this might make them simply not lie to us again.

The two of them appear to grow nervous as the crowd of onlookers are now focused on the two of them instead of the Goetia or me and Al. The three of us take the opportunity to leave the club before they can find a way to stop us.

As we make our way outside the Goetia grabs Al's arm.

"Who are you really? Your magic may have fooled them, but I have studied it since I was old enough to read. What is your real name?"

I knew this was bad, but I didn't see a feasible way out of it. Apparently neither did Al because he answered his questions.

"I am Alastor, the Radio Demon. I do apologize for impersonating royalty, but it was the only way to make such a reservation for me and my dove."
