Two weeks later,
Bucky, Tessa and the family flew to Arlington. James seem Joe and Sarah by Steve's casket.
"Joe.." James said
"Barnes.." Joe said with red eyes
"I am sorry for your loss.." James said as they shared a hug.
"He never got to marry Ivan's daughter they had twins but we're planning to wed when he got back." Joe said as he cried
"I know I know." James said
Paul came up behind them, and gave Joe a hug too. Sarah hugged Darlene and Winnie.
"Thank you both for coming. He thought the world of your sons." Sarah said as she wiped tears.
"We thought the world of him. If it wasn't for him I would have never met my wife." Bucky said behind his mom.
Sarah smiled as he hugged her. "I'm happy to see you in one piece. I know you did your best to protect my boy. Sam sent me a letter to let me know what happened." Sarah said
"I tried.." he said
Tessa went over to Nat, and hugged her. "What do I do now Tessa? What will I say when the girls get older and they ask questions?" Nat said
Tessa wiped her big cousin's tears, "You tell them that their daddy was hero, and he was doing his job protecting them and you from the bad guys. That he loved them very much, and he is their guardian angel and now he's protecting them from heaven." Tessa said
The service began, Bucky held Tessa's hand as he cried during 21 guns and the shots. Nat cried when they gave her the flag, Joe and Ivan had been sitting on either side of her.
