Based on a true story I read on the news. And usually, things on the news mean:

~~~~~
"Hey~ Let's go see a movie, Daiki." you smiled honestly, interlocking arms with his while you intertwine your fingers with his.
An annoyed groan escaped the dark-blue haired male's lips as he ran his other hand through his hair. "We saw a movie last week. And I just came home. Why can't we---"
"Please." You gave him your cutest, innocent pout. Nuzzling your head against his arm. He sighed in defeat and ruffled your hair.
"Just let me change out of my uniform." Aomine went his way up the stairs, removing his cop belt. After he was done changing, you were already waiting in the car. He chuckled softly at your eagerness to go to the movies.
He locked the door to the house and came to the car. He waited a few seconds and watched your smile. You gestured with a look of your eyes for him to get in the car.
Aomine opened the car door and sat in the driver's seat. He started the engine and drove out.
During the ride, Aomine was paying attention to the road, and not to you. A hand on the wheel and an arm resting on the arm rest. You were staring at your phone, looking at the movies to watch. You looked up and noticed a free arm.
"Daiki, can you hold this for me?" He opened his hand, waiting for you to put something in his hand.
You placed your hand on his, intertwining your fingers with his, "Thank you." you smiled a soft cheeky smile. Aomine lightly chuckled and kissed your hand.
It wasn't like a relationship you two didn't have fun and diss each other. But, Aomine just had deep respect and love for you, since - you weren't only older, but you just came out of the hospital from being injured during a kidnap.
You were a gentle girl who fell for a man who had a dangerous job. It was important to respect each other.
In half an hour, you both made it to the movie theatre. You bought the tickets for (Favourite Movie) and bought snacks.
You sat in the numbered theatre, waiting for the movie to start. Sitting on the left of Aomine. You smiled happily while Aomine kissed your cheek.
He tried being as gentle as he could with you since he found your body still fragile and frail that if he was too rough, he might hurt you.
After all, you were the one who showed him how to love. In a soft in gentle way.
You caressed his right cheek and pressed your lips against his left cheek, "Did you know I love you, Daiki?" You smiled softly, your eyes showing the warm heart you had.
"Yes, (First Name). I did."
That's when the movie started.
About an hour into the movie, suddenly someone shot a gun into the air, sending everyone into shock and panic.
"D-Daiki?" You called softly, then feeling your head being pressed against his chest. Taking in the scent of his cologne, it somewhat calmed you, but not enough with the current situation.
"D-Daiki, I-I-I'm...scared..."
You felt Aomine push you down, you pushed against him, feeling like you we're falling. "(First Name)," he said. After he said your name, you didn't push back. He laid you on the floor with him on top of you.
You heard screams, cries and panics. People yelling to call the police.
"Shh...Everything is going to be okay." he soothes you, pressing his forehead against yours. "D-Daiki...y-you're...i-if you---"
Aomine presses his lips against yours, giving you your last kiss with him.
Before you heard another shot, you heard Aomine quickly whisper in your ear, "I'm sorry I didn't propose to you sooner."
You stayed silent, and held your breath as you heard the steps of the shooter.
Everyone else escaped, some shot. You were left with the shooter and with Aomine's body on top of yours.
You started crying silently, squeezing any part of him and sobbing against his deceased body.
A few moments later, the cops came and caught the shooter. Once you knew the shooter was taken away, you slid out from under Aomine.
Your eyes red from crying, your face in distress.
"Please! Come and see him!" You shout out, "There's a person alive who was in the theatre during the shooting." you hear one of the officers say into his walkie talkie.
"Hey, aren't you--Oh, my god." you notice one of Aomine's fellow cop friends.
"Please..."
|| Interview - News ||
"And, how are you feeling, Mrs.Aomine?"
You look down at your lap while the interviewer awaited your answer.
"Well...I wouldn't say, "Mrs.Aomine", but I guess it works. I'm feeling...lonely without him. He was nice and..." You smile and take a deep breath, trying not to cry. "Heh, I'm sorry." you wipe a tear.
"It's okay, you've been through a lot."
"He was wonderful. He was great at his job." You sniffle, "I feel...like we should talk about this another time." You smile sadly and pull strands of your hair behind your ear.
"Until next time, we'll get more information."
And that was the end of the interview, end of everything. Your talking and such.
You went to Aomine's grave and placed a flower down. Smiling, "You were nice enough to save me, so thank you."
So, a boyfriend of a girl saved her from a shooting in a movie theatre, he was in the military with his friends there too, he laid his girlfriend on the floor and laid on top of her, becoming her shield. He sadly died and she was interviewed.
Salute to him.
