"Ne, Akashi-kun, want to eat out for dinner with me next Thursday? My parents are going to be out of town for the week," you paused, giving him a chance to speak so, it wouldn't seem like you'd be too eager about it.

Truth be told, you are eager about eating with him for the first time.

"Still with the surname, (First Name)? I thought we were past that." He smiled as you kept talking, the back of his hand gently stroking your cheek.

"I- uh, we are, it's ju-just this whole dating thing is new and-"

"You were asking me something prior to this conversation?" He chuckled softly when you became flustered and used your hands to wave frantically in front of your face. You grabbed his hand and held it in front of your lips, grazing your lips lightly onto his soft hands.

"Y-Yeah, right. Right, I was. Um, dinner? Next Thursday? You and I? Maybe?" Squinting your eyes anxiously, you weren't sure if he'd like the place you had chosen, because you had already planned ahead of time, it was only the matter of his approval that would complete it.

Akashi deeply gazed into your eyes, his fiery ones burning into yours. His expression was so serious, the tension of his silence only made you more nervous.

"Of course. I'd love to, (First Name)." He finally broke into a smile and leaned in to kiss you. After he did, slipping his hand out of your grasp, he held the back of your head and went in for another, this time more deep and loving.

"I will see you later, okay?"

You hummed with a nod, not even realized your lover had slipped away to his next class.

That Next Thursday

"Seijūrō-kun, are you sure you want to eat here? We can always go and eat somewhere else." You offered him; Since Akashi's family was wealthy, you were unsure if the choice of restaurant you had chosen would be to his liking.

"(First Name), I do want to with eat you. I don't mind your choices. What ever choices you make, I'll always follow you."

Gosh, could he be anymore charming?

You nodded your head shyly and pushed open the door in front of you, the smell of numerous amounts of food is what you inhaled as the lights were shining brightly after being in the dark outside for a while.

"Hi! Table for two?"

"Y-Yes, please."

Both you and Akashi stood there waiting as your server went and sought out a seat for two, as you waited, you quickly glanced around just out of boredom, your eyes landing on someone familiar.

"Oh, my god..." You whipped your whole body around so that you back was facing the direction you were just staring at. "Kill me now, kill me now." You chanted consistently without explaining anything. Akashi laced his fingers in yours, and kissed each and every individual fingertip. As he did, he didn't break eye-contact with you, making a serious face as he did, "And why would I do that?"

Usually, you would become flustered and wave your hands in front of your face frantically, but you were too distracted and distraught by your situation to even care what he was doing to you.

You were panicking, and Akashi couldn't figure out why due to the fact that you seemed somewhat afraid of something.

"May-Maybe we can go somewhere else to eat, you know? Somewhere nicer-"

"What is it, (First Name)? What's bothering you?" You would feel bad if you had told him the reason was because your ex was sitting at one of the tables and all you could remember the last time you two saw each other, was when you had broken up.

Now, earlier remembering you mentioned that the whole "dating thing" was new was because it was. The love and affection Akashi was showing you was never shown before by anyone else.

"It's nothing, really-" you tried to argue and push, but you did not succeed because the moment Akashi held your cheek and made you gaze at the expression on his face when you couldn't, you spilled everything.

"S-So, can we go?" You could feel him staring at you. You could feel him staring at you and Akashi. You stepped forward and pushed Akashi back with your arms out a teensy bit, but, Akashi had other plans.

He grabbed both of your wrists and pulled them outwards so that you crashed onto his chest, afterwards holding you in place with a hug as he whispered in your ear, "Show him that you're not afraid. That you've moved on. Show him you're stronger than that, (First Name)." after, he pecked the shell of your ear and pulled away, smiling softly.

You took a deep inhale through the mouth and exhale. You nodded at Akashi with a determined look on your face.

You grabbed Akashi, holding him around the waist with your arm and with your hand at the back of his head, crashing your lips on his. You tilted your head, passionately kissing him before breaking it, smiling at Akashi.

Little did you know, that wasn't the type of "showing" he was expecting; his lips were slightly gaped in surprise, his eyes were a tad bit wide as well, as well as his cheeks, they were pink.

You glanced over your shoulder, only to see he wasn't staring intensely anymore, but with his back turned to you. You let out a little happy sigh and smiled wide, facing Akashi again, "You're right, Sei-kun! Showing him that I've moved on and that I'm with you made me feel a lot better." You didn't notice his facial expression until now, which was quite adorable.

You felt butterflies in your stomach, seeing this side of him was too much to handle.

"Kya~! Sei-kun! You're so cute!" You shouted through your hands. While you were fangirling in your hands, Akashi had time to recompose himself and pull you in for a hug.

"Your table is ready now," your waitress smiled.

[wow that took forever.]

Again, Akashi intertwined his fingers with yours and guided you to the table. Your hand was covering your mouth, you were beet-red.You stared at your hands that were in each other's.

"Sei-kun," he heard, "I love you."

He lightly sighed, finally what he had been waiting for came.

With a quick spin on his heels, he said, "I love you, too, (First Name)." as his lips connected with your forehead.
