You haven't been receiving any texts lately from your boyfriend. You became worried and scared, you only had seen him a few times since the beginning of the year and conversations with you two were short and blunt.

You watched as he stood there, talking to another girl. Smiling like there was nothing that was bothering him; smiling like your eyes weren't observing him. You closed your eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath that you needed badly.

When you opened your eyes, in front of you were a golden pair of eyes that shone like the sun. They were bright and cheery, happy. When you made a little yelp, they closed excitedly with a nice smile, laughing.

"What are you staring at, (First Name)cchi?" Kise chirped, standing straight. You looked up at the taller model, smiling down at you. You closed your eyes slowly again and smiled, softening your worried gaze,

"Oh, nothing~ You know, just standing here observing everyone." You lied with that fake smile of yours, that you used to lie to Kise for the past few months whenever he started to dig himself into your life.

The blonde hummed, laughing as he slung a shoulder over your shoulders. He chuckled and hugged you, "Wanna come to my game today-ssu? It'll be fun~"

"Ah...sorry, I have things to do today."

These friendly gestures were normal.

After all, Kise was a close friend of yours.

In fact, he was your childhood friend.

It was cool watching him grow up, become famous and enjoy himself while you hid in the shadows...sometimes. Whenever he would notice you just standing there, he would invite you in. You'd politely refuse, but he'd offer again and drag you in.

With you, he was more serious than playful and clingy.

"Aw~ Okay, (First Name)cchi! So, I'll come over later?" He tilted his head, his mind full of teasing curiosity. You nodded, saying a word that meant agreement. Whenever Kise was with you, he couldn't help but, to smile so bright, there were crinkles by his eyes.

You were admirable to Kise. A person who was the opposite of him.

Calm and collected.

Strong.

You sighed as Kise heard his name being called down the hall. He bid a farewell by giving you a hug and a quick kiss on the head. As he walked away, your head was slightly tilted to the ground. As he walked away, his body slipping out of your grasp, you reached a little further. Your finger reflexively try to grab him, but he was already gone. Your face was blank, but you had a lot of things running on your mind endlessly.

You looked up silently, seeing him run off.

You glanced over to where you were looking in the first place before you were interrupted.

Your boyfriend was gone.

...alone...

All alone.

How could I ever tell him?

You sat there in the middle of your room, in the dark, staring down at the bright screen that lit up a little bit of the darkness covered room.
