I have no idea why in the world Lara wants to escape; she just randomly texted me that she has some sort of 'escape plan' and told me to meet her at Central Park, which I was okay with. I like going on adventures, so that's basically the reason why I decided to tag along.

I find myself running to Central Park, in the middle of an unfortunate weather. I huddle myself tight, experiencing the cold pass through me. I pull my hat downwards, adjusting it to cover my ears. Why does Lara want to escape in the winter? I really think she should postpone this escape plan, but whatever is troubling her seems to get on her nerves. I guess she's extremely furious at something, which I have no clue about.

I slowly proceed my way forward, step by step, till I finally see the label 'Central Park' which is good news. The moment I saw it, I quickly rushed towards the main entrance even though it is freezing and I can't get my legs moving during this weather. But I guess my legs were ecstatic today to get a signal from that word.

Finally, after hours of walking, I reached Central Park, and my first view was Lara darting towards me.

"Hey Maisie, packed your stuff?" she asks.

"Well of course, can't you see a bag behind me?" I simper.

"Ha-ha, couldn't see it, it was too tiny. What did you put in there?"

"Essentials," I don't really carry much essentials, but I'm surprised Lara packed a humongous bag full of ... I have no idea, while I just packed some Cheetos, water and an extra pair of clothes. I reply to Lara when her blank face arises, "Like clothing and food."

"Don't you need anything else? And I don't think a bottle of water could last for a day."

"Nah, I'm fine," I sarcastically reply; I know that a bottle wouldn't even last for a minute. I just didn't have any extra water bottles.

"Well then, good luck with that. So ... where should we place our tent?"

"Anywhere convenient," I reply casually, but that's not an answer to what Lara is asking as she raises her eyebrow. With that look, I add, "... maybe near the-"

'BOMB!' As an explosion was heard nearby ...

"Wha- What was that?!" Lara screeches. She's over-freaked out right now, I can totally tell. I am too, and I literally have no idea where that even came from. "We should go ... this place isn't safe!"

And that's when we start to rush out of the park, but are trapped in seconds by an extremely familiar dude, pointing a gun towards us ...
