I couldn't help myself, but I actually did stop at Alan's just to get some accompany on my upcoming experience.

Not only that, I actually got to taste one of Mrs. Grace's delicious cookies. At least that gave me a good start-up.

I have a friend and some energy, but I'm missing something else; a weapon. I might be extra young to use some gun or sword, but I have to protect myself. Plus, I heard that the youngest soldier was a six-year-old; he probably used all sorts of weapons in his battle, so why can't I use one too? I am like fourteen, way older than that.

My decision to use a weapon has been made, but I don't exactly know where to get a weapon since it's like illegal to sell them. Yet I do know one way to get a weapon.

"Come on Alan, to the police station," I say.

"Wait, what? Why?" Alan confusingly asks.

"To get ... weapons."

"No dude, you got to be kidding me!" Alan blurted.

"It'll be fine; just stick to my plans."

"Okay, but I literally have no idea how we'll get a weapon from the police station."

"You have eyes, dude; use it," I joke; I really need to get his legs moving.

We head towards the police station where my parents work in and confidentially sneak in. I go over to my dad's work area and saw that he isn't there; perfect for a sneak-in.

"My dad isn't in his work area; that's good news, but you have to keep a lookout while I get the weapons from the cupboard, okay?" I explain to Alan.

"Got it," he responds.

I enter the room and dig into the cupboard; looking for a weapon. All I could find is a handgun; I expected some big shotguns, but I guess that'll do.

"Quickly dude! He's coming," Alan warns.

I zip out of the room and raced towards the other exit along with Alan; where my dad almost caught me.

"Woah, that was close," I say appreciatively.

"Yeah. Now, is that all you need?" Alan asks.

"Yup, let's get going."

We continue forward to where David might be. I assume that he might be in the forest since that would be an ideal hideout.

"Are you sure about this?" Alan says anxiously as we enter the forest.

"Come on dude. We have a weapon, so we'll be fine," I really don't think some small handgun could protect us, but it's at least a way to comfort a scaredy-cat like Alan.

A cold flew through me, reminding me that it was supposed to be five degrees Celsius this night. I slide my hands into my pockets and quickly put my hoodie on.

As I make my way through the forest, the wind moans and the trees trespass in every direction. I really need to get home now, but there's no stopping me from my journey. I look carefully at my surroundings, seeing no clue of where David might be.

"It's hopeless, dude. He's nowhere to be seen," Alan negatively considered.

I've gotten enough with this dude. He seriously is a scaredy-cat, so I say, "You can go home if you want since you're scared here."

"Dude, I'm not scared; I just can't see him anywhere."

"I can't too, but that doesn't mean I give up."

"Ugh ... fine. I'll stick around for now, but if we-" Alan then steps on some circular metal on the forest ground. "What in the- Why is there metal here?"

I scan it carefully and say, "I don't know, but there is no way it could have gotten there itself," I slowly lift the circular metal piece, but instead of being able to lift it, it opened a secret tunnel.

Alan gawks, "A secret tunnel! But to where?"

"I guess we'll have to find out."
