The hospital services are actually very good here.

I love the chocolate here. They provide dark chocolate and it's the best one I have ever tasted.

It has only been thirty minutes since I woke up from my unconsciousness. I have no idea whether I got a surgery or something like that, but I guess I'll never know. My leg is in good shape now, but it's still technically broken. That means ... a lot of things ... no football, no bike riding, no swimming, no running, no skateboarding, or almost everything. I was hoping to play on the new school's football ground, but I will have to wait now. I'm sure this would be no good to Alan, who's extremely excited to escape math class and play football with me.

Speaking of all those bad things to be awaited, a nurse came to check on me for my final report.

"I would like you to take these prescriptions very carefully, please hand this over to your parents," she says as she hands a paper to me. "You're all free to go now."

"Yessss! Video game time!" I scream out. I have never seen this nurse smile, so I say, "You have Minecraft®?"

"No, I'm a nurse, not a video gamer," she giggles.

"Well then, that should be your next career after you retire. You're never too old to play video games."

"Ok, as you say so," she chuckles. I then get up and walk on crutches to the exit where the nurse says, "You just going to leave like that? No one's going to pick you?"

"I'm not four, I'm one plus four. Get it!" I laugh out.

"Ha-ha, yes, I do. Bye then!" and that's when I leave the room.

I carefully step down the stairs using crutches, but it's harder than I expected. Instead, I hold my crutches and use my other foot to jump down the stairs. I got to admit, that was tiring and risky.

------------------------

Minutes later, I finally reached the ground floor. I enter the cluster of examination rooms down the hallway and spot a familiar nurse and I think she recognized me too.

"Richard? Is that you?" she queries.

"Yes, Aunt. Ivy. Who else? Iron Man?" I respond in laughter.

"How are you here? Your parents haven't informed me."

"That's because I ended up here when my friends were in trouble."

"What happened to you?" she blurts out when she sees me holding crutches.

"Ha-ha, I got shot in the leg," I say sarcastically. She is left shocked for her life.

"Oh my god. Where are you off too?"

"To Uncle. Leonardo's house."

"My brother? His house is way too far from here. Come with me, I'll drive you," she offers and I definitely accepted that. I used Google Maps to find how much I'll have to walk and it's ... three miles. There's no way I'm walking that far.

I hop into her black Ford and she drives off to the mansion. I find myself asking, "How's Jayden and Jasmine?" Those are my cousins, who are twins and also the children of Aunt. Ivy.

"Oh, they're doing good. In fact, they just turned four two days ago."

"Four? It doesn't feel like it."

"Yes, they even started going to school now."

"Still doesn't feel like it."

------------------------

After a while, we arrived at Uncle. Leonardo's mansion and spot him entering it. He then recognizes us and heads toward us.

"Richard, hey there! Nice to see you!" he exclaims as he pats my head. "And Ivy ... unexpected, but anyway, come in."

We follow him to the grand room and spot Lara, Maisie, Rose, Mrs. Jenny and Aunt. Caroline all sitting there.

"Hey there Richard and Leonardo ... and Ivy. Come join us for cookies," Mrs. Caroline offers.

"I know it's weird I unexpectedly showed up, but I just came here to drop Richard off from the hospital," Aunt. Ivy informs.

I take a seat on one of the couches and dig for cookies. I am in love with them.

"Hey Richard, how are you?" Maisie asks.

"Better than ever," I reply.

"That's great! Did you know we have a flight tomorrow back to Los Angeles?"

"Nope, but which time?"

"2:30 am," she says blankly. "I know it's not a convenient time to fly in, right?"

"That's like the time I sleep," I laugh out.

"Probably because you play video games with Alan at midnight."

"Yup, that's me, Rich-hard, a hard-working person who's rich!"

"That same old joke, isn't it?"

"Yup, I came up with another one for you too. Mai-sie, a person who sees the memory of our friendship, most especially in May, when we first became friends that month."

"Wow, that's great! Welcome back, Richard," Maisie says tranquilly.
