Chapter 130

Y/n's POV

Only a week had passed, and almost everyone with no serious injuries had recovered and was helping with the reconstruction that was going on. Since Papa's injuries were so severe, they didn't really allow me to see him much while he was recovering, but I helped Kacchan quite a bit. The doctors were able to save his arm, but thanks to my new healing abilities, it was recovering faster than they expected, and so were his other injuries. When June finally rolled around, UA held a graduation ceremony for the third years while our class moved up a year. It ended up being a bit of a rave with Present Mic being the DJ before Mirio got up and gave his graduation speech. His speech was amazing before the wall behind him shattered, with another third-year taking the lead. We made it to our homeroom class, where Mr Aizawa joined us after a few minutes. "Normally I wouldn't be your homeroom teacher again. But these aren't normal times. Let's make it a good year." Mr Aizawa said. Everyone cheered before Mina started crying about him being our teacher again. "Guess that's one hurdle cleared." Kacchan commented.

"Shouldn't you be in the hospital?" Sero asked, looking at Kacchan.

"Nah. I just need to take it easy. Thanks to the kid, my wounds have healed faster than even what the doctors expected." Kacchan said, pointing back at me. I smiled and nodded. "We wouldn't be Class 2-A without you." I replied. He smiled before agreeing that it would be weird if we were all together. "When did he start making sense?" Sero asked.

"What!" Kacchan shouted.

"Relax, Kacchan," Papa replied. 

"Quiet," Mr Aizawa demanded. Everyone went quiet before Mr Aizawa told someone to come in. The door slid open as Aoyama walked into the classroom. "I wanted to say Aideu. I'm leaving UA High," Aoyama said, looking at us. 

"Wait, seriously?" Papa asked.

"For real? We were hoping you would change your mind," Jiro asked.

"You were the reason we were able to split up All For One and his lackeys." Kirishima added.

"Mr Aizawa and Mr Tsukauchi said told me I was welcome to stay, but I can't... I want to take responsibility for my life. The reason I enrolled here was that All For One told me to. I don't deserve a graduation like today's. I'll atone for my crimes, then set out on the hero's path once again. I'm not sad because I got to take each one of you by the hand." Aoyama said, tears forming in his eyes. "And someday, I swear, I'll proudly stand by your side again!" 

"Dude, you're killing me here." Denki commented.

"We're losing a truly manly man." Kirishima added. 

"Do not weep for me! It shouldn't be a gloomy day." Aoyama said, firing his naval laser into the air. He announced a new classmate as Shinso opened the door, while most of the class rushed over to him. Aoyama seemed disappointed before talking about his farewell party. He was still firing off his quirk before it hit Hagakure. Mineta went to land on her after jumping only to get caught by Mr Aizawa's scarf and tied up. "Sit. We've still got some business to cover." Mr Aizawa said. A third-year student came in and told us we'd be helping with the construction, and she was our representative. "In addition to the ongoing restoration project. We'll be travelling the whole country upholding public order. All Might has retired, and Japan is still recovering from the battles that started in Jaku. For every fight mentioned in the history books, there's a resulting period of chaos that gets left out," Mawata Fuwa explained.

"There's no longer a symbol, if I'm not mistaken. All For One came to power during a time like this," Shoto commented.

"That work, old man?" Fuwa asked, looking at Mr Aizawa.

"Yeah," Mr Aizawa confirmed.

"I was in this geezer's class back in the day. You never had the pleasure of being expelled. I'm jealous. You are such a spoiled bunch. He kept talking about how he wanted us to face our deaths. Scary times." Fuwa commented.
