Y/n's POV

I walked over to papa who was hugging a rock trying to catch his breath after being shot at while running without his quirk. "You okay, Papa?" I asked, patting his head.

"Yeah. I think I'm okay, but he's going to get us killed." Papa answered. I giggled before hearing the man ask some questions. He was aiming at one man he shot with a paralysis bullet, asking about a girl named Anna. "How am I supposed to know?" A guard answered.

"The better question is why we'd tell a scumbag like you anything." The other guard suggested.

"Loyalty is admirable. I appreciate your honesty." The man said before shooting each of the guards another time. They passed out as the man walked over to his bike before trying to lift it by himself. He struggled before his suit ripped as the bike started falling over. Papa and I rushed over, helping him lift it the rest of the way. "We're both pretty strong without our powers." Papa said, looking at the man. He just stared at Papa for a moment before climbing onto his bike. He let Papa and me get on before just driving around the lake for a moment. "We appreciate you giving us a lift." I said, keeping a grip on the man as he drove.

"You're welcome, and it's for my benefit as well. I'm being practical. Your friend is serving as my human shield while you're just a kid." The man said. Papa nervously laughed as I giggled about how the man described Papa. "By the way, do you know where you're going?" Papa asked. The man pulled something out of his pocket before handing it to Papa. "I borrowed this from one of those trigger-happy henchmen. If your quirks are sealed away in this area, we'll look for a door nearby that will lead us somewhere else." The man suggested. Papa tapped the screen as my ears flicked to the left, hearing something move. "Well, that was easier than I expected. Clearly, the kid is more helpful than the hero. She heard the door open." The man said. I smirked as I looked back at Papa before the man turned as I tightened my grip around him. We headed into the tunnel before Papa questioned why the people were shooting at us. "They were likely shooting at me, not us." The man said.

"Really? Why?" I asked.

"Perhaps they figured out how I ended up at the scene. Why I'm seeking Miss Anna's death." The man continued.

"I"d like to know why," Papa said. I sniffed the air, smelling something burning, before I heard a ringing coming from in front of us. "In front of us!" I shouted. The man swerved as a rocket flew past us, exploding behind us before I heard two more. "Two more coming our way," I called. The man pushed a button on the bike as something shot out in front of us, stopping the two missiles before exploding as we drove through it. We wound up on a beach as I looked to the right, seeing three men just standing together away from us. One of their heads looked like a missile launched before I saw a rocket come from his head. The missile came flying towards us as the man and I jumped off the bike. "Wait! Come back!" Papa shouted. The man and I rolled across the sand. As we caught ourselves from falling and stopped, we started running towards the men; the man we were with was shooting at them as we both rushed towards them. "Tell me, assassin. Why are you trying to kill the girl?" One villain asked.

"Because I made Miss Anna a promise." The man said.

"Miss? I see. You're one of Scervino's men." The villain in a hat asked.

"I implore you not to make Miss Anna use her quirk anymore. Whatever you plan is. You have no idea how her ability works." The man said.

"We'll use her as we see fit. In fact, she's going to play an essential role in the boss's ascent." The villain said.

"I understand. A pity. We could've handled this without violence." The man said. He shot at the men again. The one who didn't have a rocket-launching head made some kind of barrier, stopping the man's shots from hitting. The man with the rocket-launching head changed as his hands became a mini-gun. The man and I split up taking cover behind some rocks as they were blasted with bullets. There was something strange about the villain in the hat since he wasn't moving and the other two were using quirks. "He must be the one who has an erasing-type quirk." I thought trying to find a way to get close to him.

"Can you two keep them distracted?" Papa asked, making his way over to us.

"Sure can!" I answered.

"What if we do? What are you going to do?" The man asked.

"Defeat them." Papa answered. The man looked at him before he stopped shooting as he used his robotic arm to control his bike. As the bike was moving, Papa and I rushed out either side of the rock we were behind, getting shot at as we ran. The motorcycle rushed towards the group of villains, distracting them as Papa and I got close. The bike lost all of its armor, which blew up, causing a huge smoke screen. We used the smokescreen to our advantage, getting close enough to the villains that we had our quirks restored completely. I changed into my giant fox form, smacking the one that had been shooting at us back into the wall with a hit from my tails. I heard a huge explosion as the smoke cleared, and Papa was looking to be at full strength again. The one who was making barriers put up another barrier as I changed back to my normal self since I wasn't within the quirk-enabled field. We rushed towards the two that were left, Papa using his Air Shot ability to send the man making barriers into a rock. The main villain started running from us until I changed into my giant fox form, getting in front of him as he came to a stop. Papa came flying over using Air Force to push himself before kicking the man, sending him flying and almost knocking him out, finally deactivating the erasure field. "Thanks for the help." Papa said, turning to face the man we were with. He was aiming his gun at us before raising it and firing at something else. I heard the bullet bounce off something metal before looking up seeing the fake All Might standing above us. "We meet again, amateur heroes. And if I'm to believe my eyes, it would appear you're both able to use multiple quirks." The fake All Might said.

"Does it really look like I have multiple quirks?" I asked, looking at Papa.

"Kinda, but that's not important right now, Trix." Pap answered. I nodded, looking at the fake All Might. He was clearly stunned that I was will to stop paying attention to him to talk about other things. "Right... All Might mentioned that he'd decided on a successor when we had our little chat. Don't tell me he picked you." Fake All Might said. Papa launched himself into the air towards the fake All Might only to get stopped by him. Papa questioned the fake All Might, asking why we were trapped here and what his plan was. "I already did. I'm going to take my place as the new symbol. The great Dark Might. The entire world will know my name." Dark Might said. I changed back into my normal form, entering a laughing fit as I heard what he called himself. "Is there something funny about the name I use?" Dark Might asked. I continued laughing, thinking about how it was Uncle Might who had probably come up with that name by accident. Dark Might sighed before continuing his conversation with Papa. I heard Dark Might calling an attack as I transformed again, jumping into the air in my giant fox form, catching Papa as he was hit away from Dark Might. "Thanks, Trix," Papa said. I nodded as I hit the back wall with my feet before landing on the ground on my feet. "You two okay?" The man asked, rushing over to us. I nodded as I watched Dark Might drop two coins, which turned into monsters, before lifting the villain we had defeated into the air. Dark Might was scolding the villain before talking about All Might like Papa did from time to time. Dark Might ordered the monsters to drop the man before I heard the screams of the man falling to his death. "Hear this. You will accept that I'm the future, eventually. Until you submit, I welcome your challenges," Dark Might said, walking off into a room that he had made as the monsters vanished into the wall. The man sighed before having me drag Papa over to his bike before we loaded him onto it and drove towards another door.
