(I'm skipping to the day she met Jesse, because all they really need to know from before now is she's in Glee and Sue tried to cheat but failed.)
[Intro voiceover] So here's what's happened on Glee, if you live in a cave, or just got out of prison: Will took over the Glee Club, and at first they were terrible (Rachel: we suck), but then they got kind of good. Quinn got pregnant and said it was Finn's, but really it was Puck's (Finn: I'm done with you). And Will's wife Terri said she was pregnant, but she was just scared that Will liked Emma (Will: I just left my wife). And then they kissed. (Rachel: I want you to be happy, Finn) Rachel loves that she and Finn are the glee club's new power couple, but he seems a little weird about it. And Sue tried to throw sectionals but they won anyway, which is pretty exciting (Sue: This is a travesty of international proportions). And that's what you missed on GLEE.
"Well... Okay." Caroline said, frowning in confusion.
"Trust me, that's not even half of it." Stasia said, shaking her head with a sigh.
[Open: Rachel walking down school hallway between classes. Mercedes joins her.]
Mercedes: Hey, babe, looking good!
Rachel: I'm feeling good, Mercedes.
Mercedes: This is amazing. Ever since Glee Club won sectionals, everybody looks at us differently.
"No they didn't." Santana laughed at her former enemy turned frienemy turned friend.
[Kurt joins them; Jacob appears from screen right.]
Jacob: I want to be with you, Rachel.
"Gross." A few people said, grimacing in disgust.
"Perv." Stasia muttered, remembering how creepy that guy was.
Kurt: We're glitterati. I feel like Lady Gaga.
Rachel: Get used to it, guys, we're stars now, on par with all the jocks and popular kids; oh it's the dawn of a new era here at McKinley, and we are going to rule this school!
[Karofsky, the black football player, and some other guy round a corner and slushie Rachel, Kurt and Mercedes.]
"Oh my God!" Bonnie yelled with wide eyes.
"What the hell?" Caroline asked, baffled.
"My kind of school!" Katherine said with a wide smirk.
"Wait, you don't slushie people at your school?" Stasia asked them.
"Of course not!" Elena yelled, appulled.
"So you've never been slushied, at all?" Brittany asked, a small smirk playing at her lips.
"No!"
The old club all glanced at each other before grabbing a slushie from their magic cooler things and then turned around and threw them on every single one of them, causing them all to yell in surprise.
"Welcome to Lima Ohio." Santana said, low-fiving a laughing Stasia.
Karofsky: Ooh, welcome to Losertown!
Black guy: Population you!
[Cut to Will in Principal Figgins' office]
Will: But I don't understand. We won sectionals. I've completely demonstrated the validity of this program. Now you're saying we have to place at regionals or the Glee Club's gone?
Figgins: Schue, that was the deal from the beginning. I still have a bottom line. Those spotlights in the auditorium don't run on dreams. Our electricity consumption is up 2 percent. Besides, it's cold out, Schue, and the Cheerios can no longer practice out of doors. They need the use of the auditorium as well!
