[In the teachers lounge Will is eating a Christmas cookie and reading the News Paper when Emma walks in and over to her]

Emma: Hey, Will.

Will: Hey.

Emma: Are we okay? We haven't really talked since I told you about me and Carl. I mean, we haven't talked at all. Are you avoiding me?

"Yes."

Will: Not at all.

Emma: What are you doing for Christmas this year?

Will: Just a little quiet time alone this year.

Emma: Will, you can't spend Christmas by yourself. That's horrible. Look, um, Carl and I are having a big Christmas Eve party. Please at least stop by.

Will: Well, thanks, Emma. That's very sweet of you guys, but I-I think it's best if we just keep things separate for a while.

Emma: Yeah. Okay.

[Bieste walks in with a jar full of names]

Bieste: Okay, educators, gather round. It's time to pick your Secret Santa. Everybody's name is in the tub. You get who you get, and you don't get upset, all right?

[Everyone picks a name, Emma looks annoyed by the name she got. Will got Sue.]

"Oh damn." Everyone snickered.

[In the halls Brittany is helping Artie decorate his locker.]

Brittany: There. Last year, I left my stocking up over Christmas vacation and an entire family of mice started living in it. Their Christmas gift to each other was rabies.

"Gross."

Artie: I told my parents that I only want one thing for Christmas this year- stop friend-requesting me on Facebook.

Brittany: What are you asking Santa for?

"What?" People asked, baffled.

"Santa is real, I've met him." Hope was quick to interject knowing where it was going.

"So have I, every year at the mall for Christmas." Santana said condescendingly.

"No. I mean I've met the real Santa. Saw his magic, his slay, everything. All of my friends have." Hope said to them.

"Okay, if Santa's real then where's the Barbie I asked for when I was three and never got?" Stasia asked the girl who sighed.

"It's a long story, but I swear I'll tell it to you later." Hope told them, knowing it was going to take a lot more convincing.

Artie: [Amused] I'm sorry?

Brittany: [Serious] Artie the roads to the North Pole are getting treacherous. You need to write your letter to Santa really fast and get it in the mail today. And remember, even the smallest envelope is heavy for an elf. [Brittany walks away

Artie: No way.

[In the Choir Room, Glee Club decorates a trashing looking tree, all the while singing "The Most Wonderful Day of the Year".]

The club all gets up and sings along.
