Matching Tattoos (Killjoy/Raze)

okay okay, so i was talking with a friend and she pointed out that raze has a puzzle piece tattoo on her neck, and we both headcanoned that Killjoy has one that was hidden because of the no fraternizing rule in place. so now im making a oneshot on it now hehe

Raze and killjoy had been holed up in the Workshop getting work done. Well Killjoy was trying to work while Raze made it her personal mission to distract her girlfriend as much as possible. After a bought of giggles finally ended, raze turned to face Klara, her eyes scanning over her girlfriends features still lit up in a small smile. Killjoy felt eyes on her and turned to Raze. "What meine liebe?" She asked softly, head tilted to the side. "Would you ever get tattoos?" Tayanne blurted out, blushing immediately after as Killjoy started laughing. "Ay don't laugh at me...." "So-Sorry love... It was just so random hahaha..." After her laughter died down, Killjoy took a breath before she actually thought of the question. "Maybe? Never really thought of getting a tattoo, was really no need to since... You know kept me busy.. and now with Omega.." Raze nodded before getting up and wrapping her girlfriend in a hug, peppering her face with kisses, getting laughs from Killjoy again.

It was a few days after, they were curled up on Klara's bed after a hard mission. Raze was still sore from being resurrected and healed, so Klara immediately dragged her to her room and all but cuddled up to her. Raze didn't mind of course, though they had to be careful, as no one even knew they were dating. Expect for Phoenix, Jett and Neon because their friends are too nosy for their own good, and the engineers are bad at hiding it. "Hey Raze?" "Hm?" "Would you want to get a tattoo together?" Raze turned so fast she made herself dizzy, blinking away the stars, to Klara soft giggles, she finally responded. "Your serious? You'd want to get a tattoo?" Killjoy nodded faintly, blushing. "Of course it will be hidden.. Brim will probably flip out on-" "Would you want to do matching?" Klara blinked in surprise. "h-huh?" Raze muffled a giggle at the engineers blank look. "Matching tattoos? Is that something people do? Or are you tringto make me look dumb..??" "I would never make you look dumb love, Could never anyway, your to smart for that. It is something friends or couples will do to show their relationship or bond." Killjoy went quiet thinking, "W-we could do matching, if you have a ide-" Raze laughed and brought the other engineer into a tight hug. "Are you serious about getting a tattoo KJ?" At Killjoys little nod, she smiled faintly. "Alright mi amour, How about we take a few days to decide, then once we get it locked down we can make a appointment okay?" "Okay" Shortly after both girls fell asleep.

A week later, and serval days of going over Tattoo ideas, and missions they finally found a art style they liked. It was a simple Puzzle piece, meant to symbolize they connection, to the aws and fake gags of their friends. With the tattoo settled they just had to plan a day, and not let Brm know what the actual plan is. Killjoy, Raze, Neon and Jett were huddled at a table, making a plan to get Klara and Raze their tattoo. "What if we made it like a outing? We go on those plenty." "True, it can be a group thing, makes it less noticeable than just you two." "What are you four planning?" All 4 of the agents jumped and turn to find cypher curiously watching their faces. "Uhhh... planning a outing again!" Jett said quickly, And killjoy groaned. "You already know dont you Cypher.." Said agent laughed and just nodded simply, before patting the top of Killjoys head and turning heading towards the kitchens. "Don't worry little engineer I won't tell, as long as your not in danger, what Brim doesnt know wont hurt him, just be careful okay?" "Of course we will Cypher!" The look cypher shot her, through the mask, had Killjoy just shake her head. "Okay okay, Yes but we will be fine." The laughs of her friend had killjoy blush further and shove them. "Whatever..." After a few moments they went back to planning, Killjoy nervous but excited to get her first tattoo

The day they scheduled the appointment came, and Killjoy was anxious. She was hidden in her lab tinkering, though wasn't even tinkering, more just fiddling with her bots. She didn't hear the door opening, nor hear the call of her name and jumped when a hand touched her shoulder. Turning she saw Neon cackling madly, and Jett with a smirk. "Jesus Neon.. Scared the shit out of me.." Killjoy said softly shoving her friend softly, unable to keep the smile off her face. " I thought you heard usssss" Neon said between giggles, still fighting to calm down. Just shaking her head she sighed "Whatever Neon." "You excited for the tattoo?" Jett asked softly, noticing the fiddling continue. "Nervous... but yea excited. Besides can hang out with you guys outside of 'work' as you all say." She said, shooting a look between the two duelist and getting another laugh out of them. when the time came the three met Raze at the hanger and after a few moments talking with Brimstone, got into a car and headed into the city, talking excitedly. Before long the arrived at the tattoo shop and after a few moments of stumbling they were signed in. Killjoy started shuffling again the nerves catching up, before raze grabbed her hand. "You okay?" Killjoy just nodded faintly. "Yea just nervous.." "It'll be fine I promise, I am right beside you too." A fake gag had them cracking up, and loosened killjoys nerves. A few moments later they were called back and settled in. Raze decided to go on the side of her throat, proudly displayed since she has other tattoos, while Klara decided to put it on her shoulder, easily covered by her jacket and short sleeves she's always wearing. Raze, the other agents, and the tattoo artists were cracking jokes as they started keeping everyone calm.

Before long the two egnieers had their tattoos, and klara was proud to have it, especially with her girlfriend.
