Perfect Half (Killjoy/Raze)

Killjoy's brain was overloading. She was supposed to be the cool, calm, sarcastic Genius the protocol needs, her adoptive father needs, and yet she's left a stumbling mess whenever she talks, or even looks at Klara. The girl in question was the protocols bomb expert, a brazilian engineer like herself Codenamed Raze, or as her close friends know her, Tayane. Klara was drawn in by her creative bots, and explosive personality. The two inventors almost immediately clicked and became close friends, though thats what started Klara's little crush in the first place. 

Every day Killjoy found herself looking for the bombs expert in their shared lab, cafeteira, training room, even the common spaces. Anytime Tayane walked in a room when Killjoy was, Killjoy felt the room brighten and her face light up a little. Jett and Noen quickly caught on, despite Killjoy trying to hide it as much as she could and then started the relentless teasing between the two, messing with her and slipping flirty comments or teasing her blush. Thankfully they haven't made it obvious or even told Raze about it. She knew that Cypher knew as well, since the guy always knew, and she caught him looking between Klara and Raze whenever they are in the same room. 

Due to the No fraternizing rule in the Protocol, set in place by Brim, Sage, and Viper to stop things from getting to personal out on the field, especially since there was no guarantee they wouldn't get killed. So Killjoy never pushed herself to actually make a move on the brazilian agent, and she didn't want to ruin the relationship and friendship between the two. Though it was getting harder and harder to hide her crush since she spent almost every day with the Brazilian. 

They were in the training room trying to fix up Maxbot. Jett and a few other agents had been there as well, going through rotations and trying lineups. Jett and neon had roped Raze into a challenge, leaving the other engineer to finish up maxbot, Not that KJ minded though it took some convincing from all three agents. As she worked, Klara couldn't help but be drawn to Raze's laughs and shouts as she chased the faster agents around, cursing n her mother language though not showing any true anger towards them. Klara caught herself every time she found herself staring at Raze and coughed softly turning back to the bot, when a quiet chuckle had her looking up again. The information broker was sitting at his normal chess table, and Klara had no idea how or when he got in without her knowing. "Does the little engineer have a crush?" Killjoy blushed and immediately averted her gaze from the other sential, getting back to work and trying to ignore the yells and laughs of Raze. "N-no. There's a strict rule against it regardless." She answered simply, missing the soft look Cypher shot at her through the mask. 

"Its' not a bad thing you know,  to have a crush." That had Klara once again looking up at the older sential, eyes slightly widening but she kept her composure. "It is if it puts the protocol in jeopardy... What use can I be if i'm being held back by a... crush." Klara said simply, turning her gaze to the window, her eyes instantly locking on the explosive duelist, who was now flying through the air with her blast packs. Cypher Smiled behind his mask at the smallest of smiles lifting Killjoys lips, and followed her gaze to the brazilian. "Ah the other engineer, makes sense since you both spend so much time together.." Killjoy groans and throws her head back against the couch shutting her eyes. "I can't help it.. She's amazing in every way.. but there's a no fraternizing rule put in place for a reason..." Cypher ran his eyes over Killjoys defeated form before making his way over to her. Sitting down next to the other sential had her opening a eye to look him over with a confused expression. "It's okay Little engineer, do you truly love her?"

That had killjoy pause and think. She really liked Raze, thought she was beautiful, amazing, Pretty, and had often times thought of kissing her best friend, but could that be considered love? and even if it was, she had no idea if Raze even felt the same. If she didn't that could ruin their friendship. Though the more Killjoy thought it over the ore she realized that she really did love Raze. she truly loved Raze, and wanted to try with her. After realizing Cypher was still there she gave a slight nod. "Ye-yea.. I do love her so much.. everything about her is amazing and beautiful and so so cool..." Cypher smiled behind his mask at how Killjoy started going off on a tangent, though his mind wandered. he knew the two engineers liked each other, there was no way they wouldnt with how much time they spent together but they hadn't made a move on each other yet.  As Killjoy was talking, a little softer now, said agent walked in with Jett and neon. they were Joking and pushing each other around as they approached the two sentinels. Killjoy shut her mouth, realizing the three were approaching and smiled standing up to meet her friends. "How'd it go?" "It went well! We definitely-" 

As Jett spoke, cypher watched raze and Killjoy brush knuckles with faint smiles, though they didn't look at each other Cypher could see clearly that the two were falling further for each other.  Cypher met Neons gaze as he finally tore his eyes from the two engineers, and knew from Neons smirk that she was thinking the same thing he was. now all was left was to get the two enginneers to realize they both had feelings for each other.
