A few hours later...

After finishing eating his rations, (Y/n) realized around two things: one, he brought both Dangerous Zombie and Proto Mighty Action X with him in his back pocket, which is well hidden from anyone else other than himself, and two, the rations are actually tasted good.

But it doesn't change the fact that he's still stuck here in his prison, and the handcuff on his right arm is still quite painful for him.

Until then, he talked to Kuroto more about his history with the Azur Lane faction, including the battles, the return of Burgermon, and the infiltration/encounter with the Siren. Kuroto is interested in these, but he's quite perplexed over Burgermon's return, before dismissing it, as if he already knew the fate of the Bugster.

However, their talk is interrupted by the sound of door unlocking, in which Prinz Eugen returns with a smirk on her face.

"Alright then, I think it's time for the interrogation with our leader." She said, as she removes the handcuff on his right hand.

"Thank you, finally..." (Y/n) said, as he rubs his pained wrist. Prinz chuckled upon seeing his demeanor. "I promise that I won't run away, seeing how I really can't do it anyway..."

"What a good junge~" Prinz cooed, as she then lead him outside, which (Y/n) follows. On their way, (Y/n) noticed the shipgirls looking at them, with some murmuring about his identity as Snipe. He couldn't deny it though, since he is a prisoner of war now.

It wouldn't take long until they reach their destination: the Ironblood main office. Prinz knocked the door first before opening the door, in which the two then see the shipgirl of interest.

"So there he is..." The shipgirl muttered, which Prinz then closed the door.

"Indeed, milady. The true identity of the pesky Snipe, is nothing more than a teenage boy~" Prinz explained. (Y/n) meanwhile doesn't do anything, other than to kneel in front of her in hopes of not having hostility from the enemy.

"My, and quite polite as well." The shipgirl said. "Very well. Leave now, Eugen. I will have my interrogation with this boy alone."

"As you wish." Prinz said before doing so, leaving only (Y/n) and the shipgirl alone.

"I am Bismarck, leader of Ironblood, and you are currently unharmed. As such, you don't have to cower before me, child." She offers, in which (Y/n) accepts. However, our protagonist continue to stay quiet, until the shipgirl walks closer to him, making his instinctual shyness kicking in.

"Tell me, do you know why you're here?" A simple question, one that's easy for (Y/n) to answer.

"Because I was captured by you guys?"

"Nein. I am referring to your arrival to this world." This question set him back. How did she know that he came from another world, he thought.

"The Gashats, from what the Sirens told us, came from another world. You, who are using the Gashats with ease, confirm my suspicion that you also came from the same world as the Gashats." Bismarck explained, hitting his question right on the mark.

'Although the Gashats came from the TV show though... other than the ones I bought.' (Y/n) can only thought, not wanting to further confuse the already confusing mess.

"Then what's your goal here? Why are you using the Gashats? Do you know the consequences of doing so?" (Y/n) then asked, although with a slight tremble from Bismarck being close to him.

"Our goal... is none of your concern." Bismarck sigh, "As for your other questions, we do know the consequences. Which is why we began Project Behertz, a Siren powered exosuit with the data of the Gashat inside."

Bismarck answer makes sense for our protagonist, which explains how he never got the Gashats before.

"And you share the project with the Sakura Empire, right?" He then said.

"Indeed." Bismarck ended the question from (Y/n). "And now, we return to my question. Why are you here? And why do you fight us?"

"Because..." (Y/n) pondered for a moment. For one thing, he fight because he felt that it's the right thing to do, and then to collect the ten Gashats so he can both stop the return of Chronicle and go home. But can he really tell her that?

"Hmm?" Bismarck hums, waiting for his answer. (Y/n) is still in a dilemma of what to answer, until Kuroto stopped him.

"Tell her." He said.

'Are you sure?'

"It's crazy, but you don't have any other choice. Hell, it might change her mind if that's possible." With that said, (Y/n) sighed before telling her the truth about the Gashats.

"The Gashats... I have to get them all so you guys don't start the apocalypse known as Chronicle." He said, raising an eyebrow from Bismarck. "And... it's the only way for me to go back home."

Bismarck stood silent over his answer. She then realized that he didn't came to this world willingly, nor that he fight without reason. It's now understandable for her why he sided with Azur Lane, because she thought that they found him and took care of him.

"... I see." She said. Now, she has her own problem with him. Whether to keep him as prisoner, or to release him...

Then she thought of an idea, one that will benefit both sides.

"Then perhaps, I might allow you return to Azur Lane." Her offer shocked our protagonist, who thought that he'll have to escape through another means, or stay put until his friends came to rescue him. "Of course, it is not without a deal for both of us. If you tell me more about Chronicle, and demonstrate your use of this... Driver, I will personally send you back to Azur Lane's base."

(Y/n) still couldn't believe it. Although the deal is shady, the offer is too good to pass it up. However...

"Are you... going to mass produce the Driver?" (Y/n) then ask, which Bismarck nod.

"Of course. With it, Project Behertz will not only improved, but it allows shipgirls to use Behertz' armor without any consequences." Bismarck said with a smile this time, sweetening the deal. This also give Kuroto an idea.

"That's it! Accept the deal! We'll show them just how Dangerous the Gashats truly is~" Kuroto's maniacal laugh over his own plan make (Y/n) a bit unease, but seeing that all it takes is an explanation and a demonstration, it makes him fully agree with the deal.

"Alright, the deal's on." (Y/n) said. "I just hope that you won't betray me..."

"I will not, child." Bismarck said, before patting his head, making him overly embarrassed. "After all, you will benefit Ironblood well, Snipe."

And thus conclude the interrogation, as (Y/n) is sent back to his room with Prinz. As they walk back to his prison, the shipgirl noticed his blush.

"Aww, looks like she pampered you~" She said, making (Y/n) shake his head in denial. "What? Are you embarrassed? Is this how you feel with the Azur Lane shipgirls as well?"

"N-no it's not." (Y/n) denies it, although it is sometimes true to some shipgirls.

"Then I'll stay with you and pamper you as well then?~"

"Please don't." (Y/n) covers his face, making Prinz burst out laughing.

"Oh, I can't wait to 'interrogate' you myself~"
