Andrea
"We have him" I hear Aldo's voice through the phone and a sense of relief spreads through my body. "It wasn't easy, but he's at site 6" He informs.
"Ok, I'll try to get there as soon as possible" I let him know, as I try to recollect the next steps of the plan.
Of course I want to kill him, but it's not that simple. It'll start a war that none of us are prepared for.
But I can't keep him for long, that'll only edge our enemies closer and put our entire family in danger.
"I'll handle it here, don't worry about that" Aldo reassures me, "How's Sylvie?" He asks, knowing very well of what had happened yesterday.
Just because our family is prone to danger doesn't mean that we know how to deal with all this, it get's really hard.
"She's- I don't know" I confess, I've been trying to understand what she's going through, but honestly, I can't.
"Well, all of us will reach spot 21 by afternoon" He says before hanging up.
I immediately check the availability of all our security and the plane, it's time she meets him. We've been hiding this from her for too long.
She's in no position to travel right now, but it's too dangerous to keep her here. With our enemy in our warehouse, we have a target on our back at all times.
I walk up to her room, knocking on the door before I let myself inside. Sylvie is asleep with Oscar on the chair next to her with his head resting on the edge of her bed, their hands intertwined.
It's no mystery to know they have feelings for eachother, and I'm glad it's not some random fuck boy that she ended up falling for.
As much as I love to see her resting, we need to leave immediately, "Hey Sylvie, bambina" I gently shake her awake.
She immediately pulls away from my touch and looks up at me before relaxing a little, waking up Oscar in the process.
"I'm sorry, but we need to go right now, we got your discharge papers ready. I will explain later" I look at Sylvie, for permission to carry her.
She gently nods, curling up into my chest the moment I left her up with Oscar trailing behind us as we make our way to the car.
The moment I get Sylvie into the car next to Francesco, she curls up against him as Oscar takes the seat next to her.
I give her one last look of reassurance before closing the door and going to the drivers seat. Buckling up, I start the car driving us to the spot 21. It's time she met him.
"Where are we gong?" I hear Sylvie whisper as I pull up next to our private jet. "I thought I wasn't supposed to travel for a few days" She said.
"I know what the doctor said Bambina, but it's not safe for you here" I say looking at her through the mirror, "We're going someplace safe" I say before getting out of the car.
Francesco follows me with Sylvie in her arms. As I enter the plane, I see that everyone else is already here and settled.
Once everyone gets on the plane, I give the pilot a green signal to start taking off.
Sylvie, who's now sitting next to Francesco holds onto his arm and curls up next to him. I'm instantly reminded that she's not much of a fan of flying. But I had no choice.
He can't come here, so I have to take Sylvie there.
Our dad, who Sylvie thinks is dead is actually very much alive. I had no choice but to keep this secret from her, but it was for her safety.
